pain & gain
As you know if you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, I’ve had a bit of a setback with my knee. I maintain that the surgery was simple, only moderately painful, & absolutely a good idea…as long as you don’t do anything stupid, reckless, or klutzy afterward to hurt yourself all over again. :seymour:

Fun Fact Friday
Happy June, everyone!
I don’t know about you, but I’m in the mood to mix things up a little.
It took some doing, but I was able to convince Mistress Heidi to let me swap out some of ourFriday Funnies for Fun Fact Fridays! 
I’m not sure how this will turn out. Will the facts be funny? Informative? Strange? Frightening? All of the above?

just limping along
As you know, I had a bit of surgery on my knee last Wednesday. Although I’d been up for a replacement (I wanted a bionic body part!), the surgeon insisted I only needed a bit of clean-up & repair.
Even though I knew it was going to be a scoping procedure, & the doctor assured me I’d only have a couple of small incisions & matching stitches, I expected it to be a lot worse than it was. For anyone who has similar joint issues or has been contemplating this surgery—DO IT! Seriously, it was bare...
