Drink of the Month

Sky-Blue Lemonade Cocktail

ice cubes
3 tablespoons grape vodka
3 tablespoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons simple syrup
1 teaspoons blue curacao
lemon wedge (optional)

Place handful of ice cubes in blender.
Add vodka, lemon juice, syrup, and curacao.
Cover and blend until desired consistency.
Pour into glass.
Garnish with lemon wedge.

Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday, all! How have you been this week? Well, I hope—with lots of great stuff to report & be gratefulfor!

This week, I AM HAPPY that the unbearable heat & humidity of the pastweek or so has finally broken. Thank God for air conditioning, that’s for sure; I honestly don’t know if I’d have survived otherwise. Just going outside to collect the bird feeders nearly did me in a time or two.

I AM HAPPY that I found a ring I lost months ago. I knew (hoped!) it was in the house somewhere,...

Do not even get me started on the fact that we’ve reached the end of another month. Where the heck are they going?

Who should be our HUNK OF THE MONTH...

what do you mean, no food?

Last week, all (but one) of The Kittehs had teeth cleanings scheduled. Unfortunately, they couldn’t all be done on the same day, so it was back & forth, back & forth. And almost every night—four total—I had to pick up all of the food & water at 8pm. (Because if one of them can’t have any, then none of them can have any, y’know? )

So basically, my week went something like this:

Starting at 8p.m… Around 9pm… All. Night. Long.
