Always Talk to Strangers
So, I’ve been wanting to share a bit of fun news for a while, but didn’t want to jinx it until I knew it was a done deal. I’ve been working on a bit of freelancing for a cool app called Episode. It’s all about interactive storytelling, in a fun, animated format. What does that mean for you? This is basically like reading an animated comic book on your phone (any Android/iOS device) for free when you download their app. You get to make choices about who you talk to, how you interact, even what you’re wearing!
The story I’m writing for them is called Always Talk to Strangers. Here’s the teaser blurb:
The sheltered daughter of a tycoon is saved from a violent attack by a handsome stranger with a mysterious secret – but is he friend or foe? She won’t know who to trust as her own powers emerge, and her past proves to be the most mystifying of all.

Happy New Year!
Wow, I knew time was getting away from me, but I hadn’t realized just how long it’s been since I posted on my page! I’ve been deep into Tempt Me When the Sun Goes Down for weeks, and with the holiday craziness, I admit, I haven’t even thought about updating! Santa was very good to me, completely understanding my Captain America fetish admiration, and adding several new things to my shrine display case.
I just finished the first draft of Tempt Me and it’s on the road to my editing team now. Stay tuned for the cover reveal coming up soon, and the announcement of the release date (most likely in the 2nd half of January) and party on Facebook. I’ve been busy working on a fun secret project as well, I’ll be posting about that in a few days time as soon as it goes live and I can share it with you all.
2014 was a crazy busy year for me, I published 7 full length books, and 2015 is shaping up to be just as busy. So, what’s up next? Besides finally working on the final chapter of my Cap/Black Widow fanfic I’ve been neglecting for weeks? Next up will be the 4th book of The Company series, The Company of Death, due next Spring.

The Black Hole of October
Here we are at the end of October, and it feels like this entire month has been sucked into a black hole. What have I been up to? A lot, actually, thanks for asking. I took three trips to the coast, scouting book locations and familiarizing myself with the area well enough to write about it, hopefully. I released another Vampire Diaries novel under the Kindle Worlds label, titled Dark Side of the Moon. And finally, I’ve completed the first draft for The Company of Lies, and the edits are going well. I’m hoping to have The Company of Lies out some time in November, we’ll see how long the edits take to finish and I should have a cover reveal soonish.
A lot of people have asked me – when is the next Forged Bloodlines book coming out? It’s hard to pinpoint exactly with the holidays coming up, especially because my oldest is coming home for a visit and I want to be able to do family things without a tight deadline over my head. So, when I say “early 2015″ I’m aiming for sometime in January, but the reality might be February if too many family commitments take precedence.
In looking to 2015, I’ve drawn up a very rough sketch of my writing plans for the year, which are of course, subject to change.
Early 2015 – Tempt Me When the Sun Goes Down
Spring – The Company of Death, the final book in The Company series.
Early Summer – Book 10 of Forged Bloodlines
Late Summer – A sequel to my shifter book, Moonsong, where we follow Scarlett out into the world.
Fall – Book 11 of Forged Bloodlines
End of 2015 – Let Sleeping Ghosts Lie, a stand alone ghost story.
Like I said, this could totally change. The Company might get suddenly popular and I could write Cady adventures ’til the cows come home, or one of the other projects on my back burner could fight its way to the front of the line. Because there are SO MANY IDEAS waiting for their turn!

The Company of Lies
At long last I have the title for Book 3 of The Company series! The Company of Lies will be out in a couple of months, I’m not setting a firm date yet since I’ve got a lot going on. I’m almost finished with the outlining process, so hoping to start the actual writing very soon! I can’t wait to get back to Cady and Ethan and see what comes their way next. (hint: it’s not rainbows and unicorns)
