Scarlett Moon is here!
***
From Bestselling Paranormal Romance Author Lisa Olsen
I’m not hiding who I am. Well, I’m hiding what I am, because you don’t just say Hey, everybody, I’m Scarlett and I’m a shifter at the first mixer. All I want is the chance to go to college with normal people and lead a normal life for a change, maybe even meet a normal guy. I’ve just been too chicken to go after it until now.
I’m making friends, I even met a cute guy who seems into me. Everything’s working out like I’d hoped. Except for this other guy, Kane, who thinks he has to protect me, just because we’re both wolves. Every time I turn around he’s there with his dark, piercing stares and his deep, sexy voice that somehow manages to get past my defenses. I left my pack back home for a new start. The last thing I want is to get caught up in any shifter drama, no matter how sexy the package it comes wrapped up in is.
Kane is exactly the kind of man I don’t want. Bossy, infuriating, insisting he knows what’s best without even asking me, and so freaking hot, his ego’s the size of Texas. I especially hate it when he’s right. It turns out there are scarier things out there than midterms, and they’re after me.
* * *
The last thing Kane’s looking for is a mate – but that’s exactly what his Alpha has ordered him to bring home. A very specific mate. Adding Scarlett LaRoche to the pack will cement his ties to her pack and the prophecy, which puts him one step closer to the ultimate power. But can he seduce a girl that doesn’t want to be seduced?
Challenge accepted.
*** Scarlett Moon is a shifter paranormal romance with steamy sex and violence, and should not be read by those under 18. It can be read as a stand alone book, or as part of The Wolves of Cutter’s Folly, and has a HEA. ***

Kane had me under his spell, and I felt a flutter of panic as I realized I’d made a big mistake in agreeing to this dance. But suddenly, I realized he was under mine as well. I could feel the effect of the tiniest shift in my hips all along his body, and the desperate way his hands smoothed over my skin. He was mine, every bit as much as I was his in that moment.
It was a definite high, knowing he was completely attuned to my every move. I felt sexy and alive in a way I’d never felt before, and part of it was because I knew I shouldn’t be doing this. Kane wasn’t what I wanted in a man.
But it was just a dance.
Turning, my back pressed against his chest, never missing a beat when his hands closed on my hips. His hot breath fanned across my neck, and my skin tingled as I sensed his hunger for more than the dance. Kane’s arm wrapped around my middle, pulling me close, and I flashed back to that hot kiss in his kitchen – the feel of his hands on my bare flesh and the rush of desire I’d felt. Was still feeling. Pressed up against the length of his body, we swayed and pulsed together to the beat of the music. At the brush of his lips against my ear, my hand stole up to wrap around the back of his neck, pulling him closer.
“Your body remembers me.” His voice was low and intimate by my ear.
It wasn’t just a dance. It was so much more.
He was right, my body throbbed for his touch, and in that moment I wanted it too. “I remember lots of things,” I whispered back, trusting his ears to pick it up through the din of the room.
“So do I. I’m a fucking idiot for letting you go that night.”
No, he’d been right to let me go instead of forcing the issue. Stopping had been the right thing to do. Just like I knew I should put on the brakes before what we were doing got too out of hand. And yet my body still moved with his, shivering with delight when I turned to face him and his fingers traced a path down my back.
“Admit it. You feel it too.” His cheek nuzzled against mine, marking me with his scent.
“I don’t want to,” I murmured, even as I erased the last breath of space between us, pressing up against him shamelessly.
“You’re mine,” Kane growled, his fingers sinking into my hair to tip my face up before he took my lips. I opened my mouth to him, awash in the taste of him, drowning in his scent. The kiss in his kitchen had been a pale shadow of the heat that sparked between us on the crowded dance floor. I’d never had anyone take control of me like that.
I was utterly his prisoner, trapped by the cage of his arms. One hand held my head in place while the other clutched at my hip as he took what he wanted. He growled again, a primal sound that touched something deep inside me, and I clutched him tighter, my nails raking against his back in my desperation to get closer to him. My reservations were gone. Kane was everything I wanted in a man and the only man for me as I kissed him back with everything I had.

I am a writer, wife, and mother of two currently living in the Pacific Northwest. I am a complete TV addict (have to have it on at all times, even when I’m writing). I also enjoy online RPG’s, singing, reading, cooking… lots more I can’t think of at the moment.
The supernatural has long been my favorite to write and read. Werewolves, vampires, witchcraft, ghosts, things that go bump in the night; these are a few of my favorite things to write about. Not sparkly beings with phenomenal cosmic power that are always the smartest, bravest, prettiest Mary Sue to walk the planet, but real people who just happen to have this little quirk…
I’ve just published my 27th book, Scarlett Moon (The second of my Wolves of Cutter’s Folly shifter books). I’m currently working on Carter, which takes place in the Forged Bloodlines vampire universe.

Re-release for Moonsong!
CHECK OUT THE NEW COVER!!
From Bestselling Paranormal Romance Author Lisa Olsen
After werewolves attack her family, Amelia Singer escapes to Cutter’s Folly in search of her long lost grandmother. There she finds the strangest revelation yet – not only is she descended from a long line of shapeshifters, Amelia’s firstborn is destined to lead the pack to dominion over all others. Now power hungry shifters everywhere will stop at nothing to share in that prophecy. Choosing a mate is the only way to end the violence, but how can she be expected to choose a man she’s known for less than a week? At the heart of this struggle, Amelia is torn between Chase, who makes her pulse race with a single sultry glance, and Cutter, a reclusive but tempting loner with secrets of his own. Can fiercely independent Amelia find happiness with the pack, or will she rebel under the pressure and take her chances on her own?

Chase dropped to the ground on her right, landing light as a cat before straightening to his full height and stepping close. “You’re not so good at listening, let’s see how good you are with your mouth,” he smirked. Closing the distance between them, he leaned down to kiss her, giving her no opportunity to pull away.
Millie opened her mouth to retort, her reply cut off to little more than a squeak as his mouth closed over hers. Who the hell did he think he was? A wolf… a little voice deep inside reminded as she tasted his hunger. Awareness flushed through her body as Chase pressed her against the length of him, trapping her body between his and the tree. Everything about him was hard and unyielding, but he didn’t punish her with his strength, he merely kept her from escaping while he explored the dark secrets of her mouth at his leisure. Amelia’s initial hesitation quickly disappeared, the blood singing in her veins as her arousal spread like wildfire wherever their bodies touched.
Still, a smidgen of self control remained and Millie shoved at his chest, desperate to create a little space between them. Chase barely gave an inch, blazing a trail of kisses along the curve of her jaw toward the smooth column of her throat.
“What are you doing?” she demanded, even as her fingers slid up to curl around the collar of his shirt, pulling him closer.
“Showing you how dangerous the night can be.”
His kiss was everything wild and dangerous about the night as promised, and a secret part of herself she didn’t even know existed responded to the predator who took what he wanted, instead of asking permission as society dictated. No thought for consequences or the future, Chase operated on a purely sensual level. She could feel it in the way the energy thrummed from his body to hers. It made her forget the party in full swing just a few feet away, forget her objections to being manhandled altogether. Somewhere in the back of her mind that bothered her in a big way, and a flare of panic went through her as he touched bare skin.
“Wait…” she panted, breaking the kiss and drawing in a ragged breath.
“Relax.” Chase made no move to let her go, lips brushing over the sensitive spot where neck met shoulder.
“We should get back to the party.”
“I warned you not to stray into the dark woods unprotected.” His teeth scraped lightly over her flesh in a love bite, and Millie hoped it wouldn’t leave a mark. That was the last thing she wanted to explain to Gran.
“You were the one who was supposed to protect me, remember?”
“I am protecting you,” he insisted.
“How, by mauling me out in the woods yourself?” Millie demanded, pulling her head away to try and catch his gaze.
“I am keeping you safe by making you mine,” Chase replied as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
“Who says I’m yours?”
That brought him up short. “Is there someone else?”
“Well, no, but…”
“Then what’s the problem?” His sexy grin reappeared.
“The problem is, I just met you yesterday, Chase. I don’t work that fast.”
“You can’t fight your destiny, Amelie. You know we belong together.”
“Don’t call me that,” she snapped irritably. Chase seemed unperturbed, stroking his fingers down the bare skin of her back, making her shiver with delight. It took Amelia a long moment to focus her thoughts again before she could reply. “Just because you’re a good kisser, doesn’t make you my destiny. Besides, what about Leah?”
“What about her?” He stared back blankly.
“Aren’t you and she…?”
Chase gave an inelegant snort. “That was never anything serious.”
“Does she know that? Because if looks could kill…”
“She knew exactly what she was getting into.”
Millie turned that over in her head for a moment, trying to decide exactly what he meant by that. “Look…” She stole a deep, calming breath. “I like you Chase. I’d like to get to know you better, but I don’t belong to anyone but myself. That’s about all I’m offering right now. If that’s not enough…” She shook her head.
Chase stared back at her for a long moment, and then the tension went out of his body and he found his smile again. “Alright, that’ll have to be enough for now. I’m a patient man, Millie – up to a certain point,” he replied, tilting her chin up and placing an almost chaste kiss to her lips. “So, if you’re not going to let me steal your virtue out here, let’s get back to the party. And no more wandering off, you understand?”
“Okay, okay,” she grumbled, trusting the darkness to hide her eye roll. “I read you loud and clear.” She accepted his hand for the walk back to the party.
“Good, I’d hate to have to give you another lesson.”

Wake Me When the Sun Goes Down is on Episode!
Wake Me when the Sun Goes Down has come to Episode! Well, the first three chapters, at least. Want to see more? This is where you come in. The more people who read through all three chapters on the app, the more chance that they’ll put in an order for the rest of the book.
What is Episode? It’s all about interactive storytelling, in a fun, animated format. What does that mean for you? This is basically like reading an animated comic book on your phone (any Android/iOS device) for free when you download their app. You get to make choices about who you talk to, how you interact, even what you’re wearing! This means fans of the Forged Bloodlines series can take things to the next level and interact with the story in a new, fun way.
Here’s the link to get the apps (or you can find them on your phone): http://pocketgems.com/episode-interactive/
My story is listed under the “Fantasy” category and then under the “pilots” section.
In addition to my story, there are dozens of other animated stories there and if you can even try the writer’s portal if you’re interested in trying your hand at animating your own story for fun.

Stay on target…
I feel like I’m in the home stretch for getting Kiss Me When the Sun Goes Down to you guys, and I hope to have it out in the next couple of weeks. I’ll have the cover reveal here shortly as well as some teasers too.
After that, I’ll be taking a break from writing for a few weeks to attend to some business stuff I’ve been putting off for far too long. We’ll be redoing a couple of the covers and changing up some of the blurbs. I’ll also be reworking Moonsong, tightening up the beginning, and putting back in some of the racier bits I initially cut out in preparation for working on the sequel – Scarlett’s story.
The rest of the chapters (14-24) for Always Talk to Strangers on Episode for Android devices has finally been released too, so head over to check those out if you’ve been following along the story. I’m also working on adapting Wake Me When the Sun Goes Down for Episode, and that should be released any time now.

I have to follow him. I have to talk to him.

Here’s a taste of The Company of Death:
Cady was still arranging her covers when Rikard stripped down to his boxers and started to get into the other side of the bed. “What do you think you’re doing?”
“Getting some sleep.”
“The couch pulls out into a bed.”
“Have you ever slept in one of those pull out beds before? No thanks,” he snorted.
“Fine, then I will.” Two could play at that game.
Rikard rolled over onto his side, his chest exposed as he faced her. “I’ve really gotten to you, haven’t I?”
“What’re you talking about?” Cady scowled, trying to decide if she wanted to steal the comforter or just the pillows for the couch.
“You can’t even trust yourself to lie next to me?”
“It’s not me I don’t trust.”
“What do you think I’m going to do while you’re asleep?”
Cady looked up at him, barely able to make out his features in the dim light. “I don’t know, that’s the point.”
“What if I swear upon my honor not to lay a hand on you?”
“It’s not your hands I’m worried about.”
His teeth flashed white as he laughed. “Stay or go as you choose, but I promise, I’ll behave.”
Cady lingered, unsure what to do. He had a point, she wasn’t sure she trusted herself around him. Her judgment tended to fly out the window whenever he removed his shirt. “Fine, but you have to stay on your side of the bed.”
“No problem. But feel free to come and visit all you like.”
“Fat chance of that,” she scoffed, settling in beside him. The room seemed oppressively quiet after that, with nothing but the sounds of their breathing and the faint murmur of the highway outside the window. Gradually, she started to relax though, his deep breathing having a soothing effect on her.
“Goodnight, John,” she sighed, rolling over onto her stomach.
“Goodnight, Cady,” he replied, and she could feel him smiling in the dark.
