When the fish ain't biting..

I've been blessed to fish with some of the same folks since the late 70's. During the previous decades we've traveled the US trying to catch a fish, but sometimes they won't bite. It doesn't matter how far we have traveled, how much money we've spent to get there, or how many hundreds of flies we've tied to prepare for anything; the fish just will not open their mouths. My buddy, Mike Harvell, and I were sitting on a stream bank exasperated, and he said, " I don't mind not catching fish; I just don't want to work real hard at it." What a true and profound statement.....
