Questioning Blogs
Even people who I know and love are not interesting all the time. Why blogs? Do people really collect a fan base? Are there really avid blog readers? Lately, I've been looking at the numbers of comments on other folks' blogs, as well as my own. Typically: 0. Maybe: 1.
Those are not good odds. How much blog time is a waste, and how much is a safe place to vent? I wonder if we all should be checking these stats to see if blog time could be better spent in some other, more productive, activity.
I'm gonna go do some charity knitting. Now THERE's a return on investment!
