Secrets will eventually surface. And Allison must learn to set aside her plan and work with her father if there is even a small chance it could restore her mother's sanity.

It’s Cooper. And your thoughts about him have never been exactly brotherly. Shaking both voices away, she swiped her key fob by the entrance door and Cooper held it open for her. They took the stairs up to the second floor and walked around the corner to her apartment. Ruby stopped as soon as she saw her door. “Something’s wrong,” she said. “What? How can you tell?” He looked up and down the hallway. “There was a barrier when I left. Remember I checked, put my hand on the door when we left? My spell was in place.” “There was a soft glow on the door,” he said absentmindedly, as though remembering. His eyes narrowed and Ruby could see his veins throb in his neck as his jaw tightened. “Only witches would be able to see it, but it’s not there.” Ruby took a few steps forward, placing her hand on the door, which was now simply cool and wooden. She retrieved her key and turned the lock, but Cooper stopped her. “I’ll go in first.” He swung the door wide open; he held his hands up in case of a fight or a spell, but silence greeted them. Cooper did a quick sweep of the apartment while Ruby waited in the entryway. He returned with Aziza in one arm and a letter in his hand. “This was on your coffee table,” he said grimly. “Aziza was hiding behind the couch. She hissed until she realized it was me.” Ruby took the note from him. As she opened it, Cooper stood beside her to read over her shoulder. “Not all witches are equal. Some are born with extraordinary gifts; anyone can practice, but few are truly powerful. You are one of the lucky ones, Ruby. I apologize about your friend Courtney. Now, on to the good stuff! How can it get any better than winning an ereader? Well, getting a look at the book that started this awesome giveaway of course! First, let's set the mood... I think this song fits so well for the whole book. If you have read it - do you hear it? I can hear Brady singing it to Karis lol. I listened to this song while writing Ageless Sea and it is on my playlist over on Spotify, should you want to listen to the whole "soundtrack" I used. Can you pick out any songs for certain scenes??? While writing Ageless Sea I didn't sleep much, my keyboard became my pillow. From beginning to end, my characters kept me on my toes. They changed into amazing people that I am happy to share with you. Ageless Sea started off with a dream I had in the middle of the night. I remember rolling over and grabbing my phone to take notes because it was perfect and since then I haven't been able to get Karis or Brady too far out of my mind. One thing I didn't realize until I started writing, was that Brady was funny. I laughed out loud many times while writing and my family would look at me with that 'she's losing it' look and move on. Here is a part of one of the first scenes where he shows his humorous side: “What is that?”Karis looked up from the fire with a scowl. “Dinner. What did you think it was?”“Oh no, I’m not eating that, that thing.” Brady pointed at the sea urchin she held in her hands.She let her shoulders droop. “We don’t eat the whole thing, just this part.” She dangled a small portion of it with her fingers.“Oh hell no!” He held his hands up. “I won’t eat Rocky Mountain Oysters, what makes you think I’d eat them off a sea creature.” He placed a hand over his mouth. “I think I’m gonna be sick.”She laughed. It never crossed her mind that eating that part of the urchin would be distasteful to him. She’d eaten them for so long it was like second nature. Karis shrugged. “We could go fishing if you prefer?”“Yes, I prefer.” He glanced at the urchin one more time and cringed. “Can you please just toss it out or something? I can’t believe you eat those.”Karis rolled her eyes at him. “For such a strong guy, you’re sure weak.” She picked up the basket of urchins and laid them aside. “So are you fishing or am I?”He grabbed the fishing basket and started down the trail. “I think I can figure it out.”I love to write fantasy, so it was fun to create the world's inside this book. Romance with fantasy, that is my favorite, so that is what I did. I can't tell you how much you all mean to me. I love that you enjoy my stories as much as I do and how excited you get with your favorite characters... or sometimes even the messages about how you lost sleep because you couldn't put the my book down, makes me happy. I love hearing from all of you and can't thank you enough. I really hope you love Karis and Brady and their journey as much as I do! M.R. My Review -
This story is touching, sweet, sad, so sad, and it made me cry. I cried on more than one occasion. I know this story was important for Tressa to tell, and that makes it even more emotional for me. I think beach lovers and those of us that believe in true love, will enjoy. No paranormal, no trendy hip sex story, this story came from deep inside, and the emotion was real. Anyone who has lost someone they love, will feel the tug on their heart. I did.
This story is appropriate for ages 12 and over - although it does deal with a sensitive subject. Thank you, Tressa, for telling this story.

Cover Reveal - The Legacy of Kilkenny gets a facelift
The Legacy of Kilkenny is the first full length novel I wrote. Pru and Abel, will always be my first love and my favorite werewolves. Since The Great Wolf will be out later in 2013, and the cover is of Abel, I thought Pru deserves her own cover. Eden Crane outdid herself! I think the essence of Pru was captured in the cover model. As TLOK reaches the second anniversary in June, I thought it was a good time for a facelift.
