The Holiday Rush

I'm not sure if I'm excited for the Holiday season, or ready to run away! I've picked up a few presents for family already, but I seem to be dragging my feet over decorating or doing anything that will require additional work later on, lol.

But I haven't been lazy in other areas! Simple Musings is ready to be published the first week of January, and the cover is gorgeous!

Dream Seductions: Rico

"...there was a dangerously predatory sway to her hips as she circled him, looking at his body with a possessiveness he'd only ever seen in a hungry succubus...."

Only two more weeks! I know you've all been dying to read the third book in the Dream Seductions series, to find out what happens to Rico. You'll also get to meet Gavin in this book. He's the first vampire in the Blood Seductions series. All of the Tornridge Covey will be back in the Blood Seduction trilogy, as Incubi and Blood Suckers team up against one big bad bully you'll meet at the end of Rico's story.

If you haven't already read the first two books, go get them now!

Prison of Dreams

Ironic, isn't it, that I updated every website to notify that Prison of Dreams was published and available for download - but forgot to post it here? I think it must have had something to do with yesterday being my birthday, so this whole week has been busy, busy, busy!

I have to thank everyone for the notes and phonecalls I received! After being a hermit for the last few months, it was amazing to see the huge pouring out of appreciation. Sometimes life gets in the way of the really important things, like friends and family. I'm glad to know they're all still just a phonecall or email away. :)

I'm still working on getting the audio version for Prison of Dreams available. I didn't realize how big the project was until I looked at the files and realized there was over EIGHT HOURS OF AUDIO! I had a shopping cart and plan laid out for it, but they can't handle the download size, so I'm now looking for something bigger and better.

I'm also prepping to have the third book in the Dream Seduction series (Rico) ready for publication the first week of December, so everyone that has been waiting for the re-release won't have to hold their breath any longer! It'll be worth the wait, I promise. This book is a scorcher! You'll also get to meet Gavin, the first vampire in the Blood Seduction series, which is a spin off that is every bit as hot as the Dream Seduction books.

Because the D.S. series has been such a HUGE hit (I'm still blown away by it's reception), I've decided to continue the books past the original three. There's now a prequel for Ayleth's fledging and first introduction to Liam, as well as stories for the twins; Mikhail and Nikolai. You haven't seen the last of the Tornridge Covey!

In the meantime, enjoy Prison of Dreams and have a happy holiday season!

Don't forget to leave feedback on whichever site you buy from, I love to hear what readers have to say!

Audio book musings

I've been editing the audio files for Prison of Dreams, which will be released in tandem with the book format on November 1st.

I actually like the way that the voices for each individual came out. I've never done anything like this before. But now that it's done, I actually like the results! It's better than a monotone reading – in my opinion, for what that's worth, lol.

I wonder what the professional voice-over talents think when they hear their own voices reading someone else's book. Or what the author's think when they hear someone else read their book.

It's embarrassing for me to think of other people listening to my voice, and I know I'm terrible at reading compared to the professionals. But I hope I can bring a little bit of the emotion I feel into the story by reading it myself.

I can't wait to see how my readers respond!!!! =)
