When This World Is No More, the Moon Is All We’ll See

Mission’s lasting a lot longer than I thought it would.

Still on-going, and looks to be for quite a bit longer.

Despite that, figured I’d put a little something special together since Bards deux is taking longer than planned.

Working on a serial short story in between editing drafts that I’m pretty excited about.

Hope to have the first chapter out by the end of the month, work permitting.

In the mean time, check out To the Moon.

It’s an endearing story about a man reliving his life on his death bed...

Regardless of Warnings the Future Doesn’t Scare Me at All

Tasked with a peace-keeping mission as an interesting start for the New Year.

Means I’ll be out of the loop for a while (no idea how long–could be weeks or months) but that shouldn’t affect Bards 2 too much.

Edits for Dustland Requiem are due back in March, so depending on how this whole work thing goes, could be ready as early as May.

Honestly though, I’d expect a bit later with how hectic work has been lately.

I apologize for not making the original projected release date, but I will say the de...

Squint Your Eyes and Look Closer

My bad on the no updates.

Been–wait for it–writing! Figured that was more important.

Also family, work, holidays and kept breaking/fixing computers for the new writing lab.

Speaking of! Putting together a new writing lab, which is almost done.

Will post pics when it’s complete (otherwise, of course, it didn’t happen).

Recommendations for your enjoyment–Castle.

It’s a hell of a love story, and has very engaging writing.

Gets slow at times (mid-season filler episodes *cough*), but worth the time.

Plus...

As Sure As Tomorrow Will Come

Some of you might’ve noticed an issue with the site loading slowly earlier this week.

One of the back-end servers decided to stop working, so I had to re-route it.

Long story short, it got dumb and then got some education dropped all up on it.

Should be decent until the back-end server comes back online.

If you’re in need of some new stuff to pass the time, The Killers Battle Born is kind of interesting.

Also, Castle, while a bit old, is proving to be a great show.

Then again, it’s hard to find any...

Is There Still Magic in the Midnight Sun?

Long overdue with an update on Bards deuce–the usual excuses.

Earned the Gold German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge, inducted into the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club, and failed out of EFMB (although I only missed one event).

Two out of three ain’t bad, and there’s always next year.

Threadbare details aside, drafting for Bards Deuce: Dustland Requiem is done.

Editing is under way as well as working out contracts for cover art.

The goal is still a winter release, but work and family needs will dictate....

I Owe One Thing to You

More than half of drafting is done for Bards 2.

It’s progressing very well, if not exhaustingly.

I have plans to sleep sometime near the end of the month.

For aspiring writers, Litreactor.com is a wonderful resource for writing advice, techniques, and seminars.

Check it out.

All I Could Say Was Goodnight

Drafting for the first quarter of Bards 2 is done.

One hell of an exhaustive week, but totally worth it.

Still leaves three more quarters, and three more weeks.

Sounds like feasible math to me.

Also looking for proof readers.

Never Met a Hungry Fool I Couldn’t Learn to Adore

Cleared the month of August so I can finally take the time to sit down and finish the long overdue Bards deuce.

Can’t wait to get this bad boy out so everyone can enjoy.

Time to get to work.
