We’ve Cheated Fate Again
Good news everyone!
Everything except the videos are up and running (and those will be fixed soon enough).
If you have any suggestions for improvements or things you’d like to see, please feel free to sound off in the comments.
On to more interesting matters, Lynda over at Books Direct is hosting a Christmas Giveaway, so if you’d like a chance to win some great novels (including Dustland Requiem) please check it out.
On a side note, received a kind note from the ever charming Neil Gaiman (care of...

All I Know Is I’m Enjoying Today
For you fine astute internet people, you may notice the site is a little…differenty.
Was out of the loop for a while, and naturally that’s when server issues strike.
Site went down, data was lost, digital epics ala ReBoot probably took place for weeks.
Finally getting the site working again, and working diligently to get it back to it’s former glory.
Ask for your patience with all the little tweaks and glitches until then.
All my best.

You Can’t Be Caught Red-Handed If You’re Not Red-Handed
Happy end of July!
Dustland Requiem is now available in Kindle, epub, and paperback here.
Check it out, give it to a friend, leave a review. Every little bit helps.
For Eva fans, 3.33 has been out for a while now, and without going into too much, it’s…different.
But Eva is Eva.
On the Steam front, the Steam summer sale brought out some interesting contenders, such as Rogue Legacy (quite possibly the ultimate rogue-like action game), Reus (the poorperson’s/anyone-with-a-job’s Civ 5), and Evoland (R...

Even If Your Grades Are Bad, It Doesn’t Mean You’re Failing
Dustland Requiem is published!
Kindle version available here; epub and paperback will be available soon.
If you take the time to read it: thank you.
I personally appreciate anyone who takes their time to support art.
If it isn’t too much, when you finish the story please leave a review.
Amazon, Goodreads, Barnes & Noble–wherever. Every little bit helps.
No new Emarosa this month; spent most of it getting Dustland ready.
New chapter will be ready next month!

Blue Coyote Hotel
I’ve written several posts about genres and the difficulties authors have deciding where to put their books. After a lot of feedback from a number of authors, I agree with what most of them said: even if a book could fit into a number of different genres, the author needs to decide what the foremost element of the book is and put it there.
Blue Coyote Motel was a quarter finalist in Amazon’s Breakthrough Novel Award contest in mystery/thriller. Then...

Rock on Young Savior, Don’t Give up Your Hope
Many things this month (sticking to monthly posts until this peace-keeping mission is over):
- Writing Updates
- Guest Blogger
- Blood Kiss
Writing:
Secret project Bards the First (aka Roaming Cadenza) is about done; just waiting on post-production.
Since I’ve finished all major work on it, figure it’s time to share.
When I first published Roaming Cadenza there were some issues with the manuscript.
The short version is that the final editor/proof reader and I had some significant disagreements, and I...

I Don’t Need What You Ain’t Got
‘kay.
So secret project Bards: the first is underway.
Bards: the second is catching its finishing touches.
Expect a release date by the end of the month (for no later than the end of next month).
Many apologies for how long it has taken to get this out, but for quality. And science.
This photograph is proof.
Third chapter of Emarosa POSTED!
If you like neat-yet-violent alt. history, check out Django Unchained.
And Inglorious Basterds while you’re at it.
Actually, pretty much any Tarantino film is wort...

We Used to Look at the Stars and Confess Our Dreamers
So many projects going all at once I can barely keep track.
Even in spite of that I’m actually staying on top of deadlines.
Exhausted, but there’s nothing better.
Bards deuce is back at the editor’s workshop, getting its kinks all unkinked.
It’s well on track for May/June release.
In honor of Bards deuce doing its thing, working on something with Roaming Cadenza that should hopefully finish up around the same time.
Looking forward to it quite a bit.
And the next installment of Emarosa and the Sea of...

Until Then, I’ll Just Play Pretend
So. Damn. Busy.
First thing–site was down for like a week.
Crazy server issues not even worth explaining.
In short, have an amazing host who was kind enough to straighten out most of the issues for me since I haven’t had the time or resources to do it myself.
I realize that might not sound like much, but if you’ve ever dealt with webhost support before… holy crap.
If you’re in need of an outstanding webhost that’s also surprisingly affordable, check out Errantweb.
Next! Swore I would find some way...
