It’s coming to the end of the year. This has been a tough one in my family. My mom’s Alzheimer’s disease has taken a huge toll on her this year. Out of the mouths of babes. The old cliche contains more truth than we realize. When my brother was about four or five years old, the family took a trip to Carlsbad Caverns. If you’ve never been there, it’s quite amazing. There are more than 119 known caves form when sulfuric acid dissolved surrounding limestone. Fitness Friday: Moderation
I’m on a constant state of searching for balance these days. I’m an all-or-nothing person by nature, a perfectionist if you will. Don’t get me wrong, that particular trait has done well for me in my life–but as with any great strength, it’s also a great weakness.
So, when I do things, I tend to do them very well, which (usually, though not always) garners me praise. HOWEVER, it also brings its own set of challenges.
