Rewriting an old story that I haven't finished or a piece that didn't work out as I wanted it to, is an excellent place to start. Then I have something to work on, and its not that horrible blank page starring back at me...
My husband says I never seem happy when I'm not writing. It feels like something is missing, there is a vague sense of unease as if I have lost a treasured possession and can't remember where I put it.(less)

I love to capture an idea or an emotion and turn it into a story. When you are writing and it's going well, time flies and you lose yourself in the world you are trying to create. It's magical and all-consuming. It's a wonderful feeling!(less)
