Dan Is The Man

Neither he nor I have the rights to the original coverdesign, or the lettering, so I’ll have to do the design myself. Which is fine, because the original was optimized to be seen on a shelf in a bookstore, and this one has to be optimized to be reduced t...

So if you’re in the Greater Boston Area, by all means head to the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel, come over, and say hi.

Meet Mr Cephalopod
I’m doing my taxes, and so I considered uploading a photo of a receipt with a undecipherable scrawl on it by way of explaining how I’m spending my time. But then I thought you’d probably enjoy this more.

Joey

There is a character inThe Rift who is one of my very few attempts to draw someone I’ve met in real life. The character would be Jean-Joseph Malraux of Pointe Coupee Parish, LA, the captain of a Mississippi towboat, and who a great many readers immediately recognized as Joey “Big Reel” Grillot of New Orleans.
I describe him i...

My Top Ten Bestselling Novel . . .
. . . is seventeen years old.
The Rift got to #7 on the Barnes & Noble list today. Hadn’t ever broken the Top Fifty on B&N before.
AndThe Rift also topped out at #32 on the Amazon list, and I hadn’t got into the Top 100 with any of my books before.
So hurrah! Thank you all!
I guess it shows that if you want something done, you should do it yourself.
And of course it’s not too late to join the stampede, and buyThe Rift from one of the following vendors!

Wreck the Country for Only 99 Cents!

If you had a hardback of this book, which is something like 575 pages and 310,000 words, and you dropped it on your foot, I would not answer for your phalanges. But now it’s an ebook, and it weighs no more than the electrons it’s made of, and you can carry it everywhere but the swimming pool!
Enjoy!

Another Contest, Oh Yay!
Okay, I’m canceling the last contest because it just seemed to confuse everybody. Honestly, I thought the crypto solve would be a lot easier than the airplane photo. Shows you what I know.
So, for free audio books of the entire Praxis trilogy, be the first to answer the following question:
“What common household implement is worn by Vashti’s followers?”
The answer is in one of my books. Not one of the books I’m giving away, either.
As for the last question, here’s how to solve the clue “confused...
