Saturday Recommendations – a bit late
This week, guys, oh this week has been such a good one.
I’m a bloody picky reader, as I expect you’ve realised, and could easily fill up my reading week with releases from my regular list of autobuy authors, but fangirling autobuy authors has another big advantage in that they recommend books that they rate highly. And that’s what happened this week.
I’ve been one amongst many fans desperate to get my paws on the latest, an it turns out to be the last, instalment of A Charm of Magpies series by...

Saturday Recommendations
Today is my birthday :D I’m sure you’ll allow me to gloss over exactly how old I am but the date means that I have been a Kindle owner for a whole year [and a ereader owner for 3 years]. I thought it might be fun to look back through my files.
I’m a bit shocked at how many books I have in my archive, and I am by NO means as fast a reader as some of my mates. Altogether it comes to approx 650 separate titles – assuming a mean average of one centimetre per book that would mean double shelving my...

Guest Post- Douglas Black
Hello everyone!
Hi Elin. Thanks so much for letting me drop by to introduce my new MM erotic romance novel, Port In A Storm.
Port really was a labour of love, more so than any other book I’ve written to date, simply because I absolutely fell for my characters from the get-go and wanted to tell their story as best I could. That’s not to say I don’t always love my characters. I do. But with Alex and Jake that love went a little deeper, I think because they are very much a mash-up of myself at v...

Today in the Comfy Chair – D P Denman
My guest today is D P Denman, self confessed coffee addict and hockey fan who lives in one of the few places in the world greener and damper than Wales.
Welcome DP, so glad you could join me.
Thank you so much for having me, Elin. It’s great to be here…and you’re not kidding! This chair is comfy. *bounce, bounce*
Can you tell me a little about yourself? For instance, do you have to have a day job as well as being a writer?
Yes. Like most people in publishing, I have a full-time job that pays the...

Blurb:
Meet Darren Murchison – self employed plumber and reluctant werewolf.
Excerpt:
GARY snickered. “You said ‘bollocks’,” he explained when I glared at him.
“Oh for Pete’s sake, grow up.” I stabbed a finger towards the placid brown and white
shapes grazing opposite my new kitchen window. “I said ‘bullocks’. It’s another word for
cows. Boy cows.”
“You’re going to fit right into this isolated farming community, aren’t you?” Gary
turned on his heel, surveying my new hom...

New Release – Healing by Tabitha McGowan
Healing by Tabitha McGowan
Blurb:
Werewolf meets human healer, and snuggling ensues… but not till the danger that’s threatening them both has been dealt with…
~~~
This story originally appeared in the Bollocks! anthology and for a short piece it paints a very enticing picture of a dangerous and beautiful paranormal world where nothing may be quite what one believes.
Emotionally charged with a subtle tinge of eroticism, the story provides a brief snapshot in the lives of the protagonists – a meet...
New Release – Raising the Rent by J L Merrow
Raising the Rent
Blurb:
Rent boy rule number one: Never fall in love with a customer.
Life as a rent boy is not a long-term career goal for Nathan, who’s determined to get an education. But when he turns up for his first day at college he’s horrified to find his English teacher is one of his regular customers: Stephen, the one Nathan dubbed The Voice for his educated, honeyed tones.
Stephen’s just as shocked to see Nathan sitting in his class, not to mention terrified he’s about to be exposed a...
Guest Post – Author Jake Biondi discusses the BOYSTOWN Experience
Over the past year, since the first episode of Boystown hit the web, the series has gone from strength to strength and has become justifiably famous. Both critically acclaimed AND a popular bestseller, rare in this digital age, the characters go from strength to strength, story arcs draw to satisfying conclusions only to flail and whip into new exciting shapes – it shows no sign of ending and for that the many fans can be grateful.
So with that impeccable pedigree, you can imagine my shock wh...
