And the winner is....
Bear! Thank you Beatrice for the submission. You will have a paperback copy of Delsyn's Blues when it's out. I don't have a definite release date yet, expect early next year (yes I know it's a while to wait, sorry). If you'd EM me lou(dot)sylvre(at)gmail(dot)com an address where you want it mailed when the time comes, I'll get it out to you. I'll update with news about the release date as it happens.
Thanks also to all others who submitted! All of the offerings were hard to turn down.
There may be more contests, so keep an eye out! (This was fun!)

Lie to me! (And win an ebook)
A goodly number of people entered the Friday Free for All giveaway last week, but sadly there could be only one winner. So here's a chance to try again, or to try for the first time. All you have to do is lie. What could be simpler? Fiction writers do it everyday. (Okay, if you must, you may tell the truth.) Here's the specs: in 35 words or less
If you entered the contest on Cup-o-Porn, give me the down and dirty on why you should have been the winner.
If you didn't enter the contest on CoP, tell me why you wanted to but didn't.
Simple, right? As usual, you may enter with a comment here, or on my Wordpress blog or email me at lou(dot)sylvre(at)sylvre(dot)com. (Your email entry will be shown here.)
I'll run the contest for a week, then I'll choose the winner in a completely subjective fashion.
So lie to me, okay? Please.
Oh, and if you already have an ebook of Loving Luki Vasquez and want to lie just for fun, please do.

Contest announcements coming, and sweet review on Delsyn's Blues!
I know I'm supposed to get the contest winners announced tonight, but some of you may recall my method of chosing the winner involves either very small children (none available), or a cooperative cat (none available). I'm still hoping to get it done tonight, but one way or another you should know soon. Check back here if you don't hear from me by Saturday, as I'll post a list. One thing I can do is post this link to a review of Delsyn's Blues by a Goodreads member, Lisa. The 4.25 stars are sweet, but the words she wrote left me feeling warm all over. Here's the link to Lisa's review. (Many thanks Lisa.)
Incidentally the photo is here for no reason except that I like it, and it was taken in the general area where Delsyn went into the woods, in Delsyn's Blues, and it's... that type of forest. Taken by Michael McKee, website here.

Valentine's blog hop (an easier, sweeter contest to win Delsyn's Blues)
Yes, it's time for me to give away an ebook copy of Delsyn's Blues, the second book in the Vasquez & James M/M suspense/ romance series. (A secret: if you haven't read Loving Luki Vasquez, book one, you can choose that one instead if you win.) If you'd like to try for the prize, just click through to the blog hop post on sylvre.com and leave me a comment answering this question: If you could only choose one, which would it be? A kiss, a slow-dance, or a pair of dark Belgian chocolate truffles, which would you choose? (Evil question, I know. I'll answer it, too, when it's time to name the winner!)

Contest details as promised! The Romance Reviews Sizzling Summer Reads Event
The Romance Reviews is having a month-long party, with different prizes to win every single day. On July 3rd (the whole 24 hours, EST), a "Q&A" will be available for a chance to win an ebook copy of Delsyn's Blues. Just one (multiple choice) question and a can't-miss-it hint; answer the question and you're in the running, simple as that. There are a lot more great prizes too (alhtough I like to think Delsyn's Blues is the best... heh-heh). Here's the basic facts on the event:
The Sizzling Summer Reads Party starts tomorrow (July 1) at 12:00am EST, with more than 400 participating authors and publishers, and more than 400 prizes up for grabs during the whole month of July. Grand prize is a $100 Gift Certificate!
Important! You'll need to register and be logged in at TRR before you can play the game. Registration is free and easy.
Have fun!

Yesterday was fun, today's good, too. (Or, how to find out what Luki said and maybe win an ebook...)
Our release party for Yes was a spectacular success--you can read posts and comments at the Dreamspinner Blog, if you'd like. But, as advertised, we have more stuff going on:
Today (7/19) and tomorrow (7/20), a chance to visit some blogs, read a review, some character interviews, and an excerpt, and another chance to win a free copy!
Heres how it shakes down for details:
Here at my Goodreads blog you'll find this post to get you started. Because the bloggers involved hail from various distant places on the globe, the times their posts will be active is less certain than I'd hoped, so I'll also post an update here when each piece is live, and give you the precise links.
At author Anne Barwell's Live Journal blog, Drops of Ink, you'll find the blurb introducing the novella and her review of Yes.
At author Elizabeth Noble's blog, Emotion in Motion, and at her Live Journal, you'll find... wait for it... an interview with Luki Vasquez! I asked him all your questions, and he graciously (well, graciously for him) bared his soul.
At author Rhys Ford's blog, I briefly interviewed Sonny, Luki's uncle Kaholo, and Ruthie--a young woman married to Luki's nephew Josh. She appears briefly in "Yes" but plays an enormous role.
At my Wordpress blog I'll be posting an excerpt from yes and a few authorly thoughts in conclusion.
Check back here Saturday morning for the winner's name! Oh! I didn't tell you how to win... It's easy. Simply comment on each of the blogs taking part.

Another stop on the *Yes* tour--an excerpt at sylvre.com
Hi! This excerpt from Yes is one that wasn't posted yesterday during the release party, so maybe a new tidbit for the interested reader. It's what happens immediately after the diagnosis.
Here's the link for the post on Sylvre.com.
For the blog tour/contest, give it a read, then leave a comment--anything, and do the same at the other stops (see previous posts). The random pick winner will be chosen Saturday morning, before my chat on the Dreamspinner discussion group, here on Goodreads.
I hope you enjoy the offerings at all the stops! Thanks.

The blog tour completed with the Luki Vasquez Interview
[image error] At Elizabeth Noble's blog, you'll find the interview with Luki alone--you readers posed the questions; I went after the answers.
Here's all the stops on the tour:
Anne Barwell's review of Yes: A Vasquez and James Novella
The Vasquez and James characters interview
The Luki interview
An Excerpt from Yes--After the Diagnosis
The tour is on through Friday 7/20, midnight Pacific time. Visit all the stops, comment at each stop, come back here to find out the winner on Saturday morning. (If you are unable to leave a comment despite trying at any of the spots, let me know here. That sort of thing happens sometimes!) I hope you enjoy the tour.

Winner of book tour prize (Yes ebook)!
Yes, it's a bit of a smudge because actually no one quite met the requirement of commenting at all the tour stops, but Anna came closest. I thought about not awarding the prize at all, but I didn't have it in me. I hope Anna enjoys it. (I'm pretty sure she will.)
