Just released: Imagining the Unimaginable

Now available, Rick’s latest non-fiction release.

Imagining the Unimaginable is an inventor’s journey to answer age-old questions from a modern-day perspective using only first-hand human experiences. When a system engineer and inventor of over one-hundred and twenty US patents analyzes and models the afterlife from only first-hand evidence culled from thousands of Near-death experiences (NDEs) and past-life regression hypnosis sessions, a divine system emerges.

After nearly dying from a blood clot in 2004, author and inventor Richard Rowe began a spiritual journey to answer age-old questions: What happens after we die? Is there an afterlife? Why is there so much suffering in the world? Why do bad things happen to good people?

To answer these questions and many others, Richard uses over thirty years of inventing and system engineering experience to examine insights from first-hand NDEs. When his questions get deeper, Richard must search beyond NDEs for answers. He expands his reference material to the first-hand reports of people under past-life regression hypnosis, then goes one step further and includes insights from personal experimentation with past-life regression hypnosis.

Unlike existing books covering the topics of NDEs and past-life regression, Richard synthesizes a vast amount of first-hand information and develops an overarching model to account for the data using easy-to-understand diagrams and explanations to infer and describe an inventor’s perspective of heavenly realms orchestrating the afterlife.

New Series: The Adventures of Jayden Banks and the Jameson Twins

Greetings!

I am pleased to announce my new middle-grade series entitled, The Adventures of Jayden Banks and the Jameson Twins. Here is the cover reveal for book 1, GAME ON:

Rowe_Game On 3D

The series starts out in the San Francisco Bay Area with the three main characters battling in an online game. The story quickly progresses to a real battle across three galaxies.

I am super excited about including two of Jon Lomberg’s licensed images on my website and inside book 1. (The Milky Way galaxy and the other of Andromeda.) Jon’s work and his projects are super inspiring. Check him out at: www.galaxygarden.net

One of my big challenges in defining this series was coming up with a novel way to travel faster than the speed of light. The characters would quickly travel from point-A to point-B thousands of light years away. To keep the series interesting and less about space travel, I wanted to dream up a super fun solution. I also needed starships to travel different distances. That is: within an area of the galaxy, across the galaxy, and travel from galaxy to galaxy.

My solution?

I defined a UFO spacecraft for shorter distances, galactic transports for travel across a galaxy, and finally transports that can travel from one galaxy to the other.

My solution for faster than light travel was first to make the hypothetical multiverse real. I then went on to decide the space traveler would need to punch out of the present universe into the multiverse. The best place to this was in the middle of a star or black hole. (Think of bubbles in a bubble bath)

From there the transport would travel in what I have defined as the “space between the space” until reaching the point in a particular universe where they want to go. Then the happy travelers simply punch back through the core of a star or black hole and end up near their destination. Easy peasy. :-) Lots of details behind these ideas, but I’ll save that for another day.

multiverse = “space between the space” = bubble bath

particular universe = bubble in the bubble bath

The space adventure series itself is a bit like a teenage Robin Hood in space meets Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew. Book 1 establishes the world framework for the series and takes the characters (Jayden, Parker, and Nora) on a wild adventure.

GAME ON essentially launches the characters into other upcoming stories dealing with all sorts of fun mysteries, adventures and problems to solve.

Some other news to tell you about: I have talked with Jon Lomberg about providing some of his super cool space illustrations in a free Spring Tide Mason handbook. Details and release date to be defined (stay tuned).

Watch for periodic tweets that will reveal more details.

I hope everyone will enjoy the series.

Welcome to my blog!

I recently launched the first two novels of The Reincarnation Series. One of my writer friends saw the power point I’d created to define the reincarnation system for the series. She told me I should publish it too. I listened! (Thank you, Cynthia)

It is now available as Carmina’s Notebook.

I also wrote a detailed backstory defining the world in the series as a way to describe the illustrations. I never intended to make it public either. After much encouragement to do so, I decided to use the key pieces and rewrite it in free verse from Carmina’s point-of-view. It is now part of the Carmina’s Notebook. This word cloud was created from it:

To make it easier for readers to view the illustrations in a larger format, I will be giving away the diagrams in a special PDF that can be downloaded for free periodically. Follow me on Twitter @rickerowe and watch for periodic tweets to get details when and where to download it. It will only be made available during special promotional periods.

Enjoy and thank you for reading!
