Up Next

It's been about 6 weeks now since my latest book has been published and, in that time, I've been spending time with my dad, taking a little vacation with my husband and reading all the newest releases from some of my favorite authors. I think there is nothing better than writing books unless it's reading them.
I've been through recent releases by Julie Anne Long, Sarah Maclean, Sabrina Jefferies and Eloisa James. Each one was wonderful, full of familiar characters (I'm a sucker for a good series) and, in general, a great read... each in it's own way.
Often when I read, I get ideas for my own stories that oddly have nothing at all to do with what I'm reading. Of course, the same thing happens when I'm having a conversation with my husband, too! My mind will associate thought after thought until I'm miles away from the matter at hand.
With all the reading I've been doing, I've started to think about what to write next. I have 5 other stories either started or loosely plotted right now and have been reading over what I've got looking for the one that interests me most right now.
Will it be the prequel to my Questions for a Highlander series with Abby & Richard or the next in the series? If so, who? Fiona? James? Maybe Connor? Or as one reader suggested, the dashing Captain Anthony Temple?
On the other hand, I have an interesting beginning to a different kind of time travel story, 2 contemporary romances and (*gasp*) a teen thriller.
Where to go? What to do?

Reviews coming in

Reviews are starting to come in on my new book, Nothing But Time. This is normally a very nervous time for me, as I imagine it would be for any author.
I love my characters, but will everyone else? (nibble, nibble on thumb nail)
I'm so happy with the reviews that I've received so far on B&N, Amazon & Smashwords. It seems that everyone loves Brand & Kate as much as I do so far!
In particular, I have to say that I just loved the first review I've gotten on Smashwords just for the pure poetry of it. The reader, and I quote, "Loved Kate's spunkiness and Brand's hunkiness. :)"
That really made me smile and made my day. David Beckham's Super Bowl commercial had nothing on that moment! Nothing But Time by Angeline Fortin
