After doing the Afrikaans translation for FingerNale Tales (Ekletiese Hap Verhale), I realised it needed some updating, not for story, rather for formatting, and did so. Those changes are now live.

The Infinity Mantle

There is a darkness coming …

 

Rayne of the Mantle, to confirm Infinity’s presence on Valaris, knowing thewitch will seek her revenge for the death of her son, travels toFarinwood to find Aven. The old magician will know. There he discovers changelingchildren, a secret Society of Sorcerers, the mysterious waif Averroes, as wellas the Maghdim Medaillon, a dangerous coin that creates a thread of lightbetween two realms.

In another universe, theDarak Or Margus watches for the perfect opportunity to annihilate the world Ardosiaand its people. He desires to avenge an ancient terror and has been patient toolong. Separating the two realms is a vast Chaos barrier, a roiling darkness bothInfinity and Margus will deploy as a weapon of ultimate manipulation.

Two worlds will soon burn.

Taranis of the Dome Guardians,summoned to witness what will happen to Valaris should Ardosia fall, is forcedto endure the terrible blockade. In the aftermath, the Guardians gather todefend against the influx of this new evil, as is their sworn duty to theuniverse.

Rayne, meanwhile, dreams ofa little girl from another land desperate for help, while on Ardosia a toddler rousesfrom a nightmare, screaming, “It will all burn, daddy!”

Another awakens; alegendary figure from the forgotten past, creator of the Maghdim Medaillon, thetrue ruler of both Valaris and Ardosia. His time is now.

Die Ou Man – 'nkind se perspektief op die ontmoeting van 'n onbekende oom

Die KoninklikeKat – dit is inderdaad 'n kat se lewe

Die Berge Brand –die vernietigende krag van vuur

Oggend Reënboog –wanneer 'n reënboog 'n teken is

Bloed Maan –wanneer die werklikheid heeltemal onwerklik voel

Sluiers van Slaap– wat gebeur in die ryke van vergetelheid

Gevleuelde Wonder– 'n gevleuelde wese loop deur die stad se strate

Glas Drome – elkekeer as 'n man sy oë toemaak, breek glas

Eerste Dag – 'nkind se perspektief op haar eerste skooldag

Aan die Einde –die lang jare van die lewe

 

'n Paarvasgelegde oomblikke in tyd wat 'n paar minute van jou dag sal vra. 'n Asemloselag kan volg, of 'o, ja, ek sien myself daarin!' Miskien skenk 'n hap 'nglimlag, terwyl 'n storie 'n gevoel van verwondering skep. Geniet!
