Guest Post by Ann Lewis Hamilton, author of EXPECTING

Hey beautiful people!

Last week, I featured a review for Expecting, the novel from screenwriter of Grey's Anatomy, Ann Lewis Hamilton. Throughouly enjoyable, a novel I devoured (you can read the review here ), I recommend this one to anyone looking for a story with 'real' characters and poignant issues dealt in a light but still potent manner.

I di...

Review Tour: BETTER THAN PERFECT by Kristina Mathews

The woman he left behind and the son he never knew are tougher opponents than any he’s met on the field.

Pitcher Johnny “The Monk” Scottsdale has won awards, been named an All-star and has a perfect game to his credit. Known for his legendary control both on and off the field, his pristine public image makes him the ideal person to work with youth players in a preseason minicamp. Except the camp is run by the one woman he can’t forget…the woman who made him a “monk.”

The debut from Emmy-winning screenwriter of thirtysomething and Grey’s Anatomy, a hilarious, heartfelt exploration of what it really means to be a parent

After years of trying, Laurie and Alan are thrilled to find out that they’ll finally be having a baby, until they discover the unthinkable: the doctor has impregnated Laurie with the wrong man’s sperm. Review+GuestPost: THE PRIVATE AFFAIRS OF LADY JANE FIELDING by Viveka Portman

Blurb:

In the world of Regency England, only one thing matters — the begetting of an heir…

‘There is one fact I cannot hide nor deny. I have borne my husband no sons…’

When Lord Jacob Fielding suffers a traumatic injury denying him more children, it devastates both his present and his future. He and his wife Jane have only daughters, and the brother in line to inherit his title and lands is a disgusting reprobate, a man who should never have power over anyone.

Spotlight: ONCE UPON A MARRIAGE by Sara Daniel - Launch Title of Beyond Fairytales line @DecadentPub

Once Upon a Marriage
Retelling The Three Army Surgeons
By Sara Daniel
My favorite school assignment ever was modernizing and retelling a fairy tale (sophomore English – Aced it AND got extra credit – Thanks  Ms. Seckler!), so when Decadent Publishing put out the call for a retelling of a Grimm’s Fairy Tale, my hand immediately shot in the air. I was given The Three Army Surgeons, an obscure, somewhat gruesome story that was definitely not a romance. (Read it here.)
 At the beginni...

Blurb:

When life gives you lemons, make citron pressé

When Francophiles Don and Mindy Wallace received an offer for a house on a tiny French island, they jumped at the chance, buying it almost sight unseen. What they found when they arrived was a building in ruin, and it wasn't long before their lives resembled it. Plagued by emergency repairs, a stock market crash, and very exasperated French neighbors, the Wallace's could have accepted their fate. Instead, they embraced it. The French House i...
