I Just finished writing Return To Poughkeepsie!!!!

I'm sort of half crying half exhausted.

The experience of writing it wasn't as terrifying as I thought it would be. But sending it to my publisher was skeery.

Now we'll start the arduous process of editing the hell out of it. I'm super lucky to adore my editor Jessica. And I know Omnific is so fucking brave, they will be able to handle all the crap I brought up in the book.

And the release date will be 12.7.13!!!

Return to Poughkeepsie Teaser!
Are you ready? Return to Poughkeepsie will be released on 12.7.13
"And yet she was all he could think about. When he was feeling gracious, he pictured her snuggled in a warm sweater under some lucky fuck’s arm.
And when he was feeling jealous, which was most of the goddamn time, he pictured her naked under some nameless three-pump chump. Being a girlfriend or a wife.
God, please not a wife.
The pistol lay between his legs, the liquor sat in the seat next to him like a true friend.
Do it, you pussy-headed motherfucker.
But the sky was too blue. And his hand kept shaking.
Beckett was afraid of the gun. It was more final than time. It wouldn’t erase the pain, and he was afraid that after his body was wasted, the only thing left would be fear. And he fucking despised fear."

Bid! Win! Read!
Hey guys,
Just an update on some of the places you can get Poughkeepsie and the Seraphim Series:
Acts of Kindness from Literati Literature Lovers has a signed copy of Poughkeepsie. I always throw in swag, and this will include a Poughkeepsie themed crystal bracelet I make with my own horrible hands. I also just spoke with them about adding a google hangout, so I will add those details as I get them.
For Publishing Peeps Help Oklahoma there is a signed copy of Crushed Seraphim and matching angel swag. Another bracelet I make if my own horrible hands too! Last time I checked, no one had bid on it yet, so it could be a total steal for you!
And last we have my crazy ass being interviewed at Fics to Flicks! I'm talking Twilight Fanfiction and Return to Poughkeepsie! ECopies of all three of my books are up for grabs, so head over.

Despite her best intentions, none of her partners can<br />keep up with her scene fetish and attention to detail—let alone her<br />demand that they have a costume and set waiting every afternoon by the<br />time she’s home from school.<br /><br />Over a dozen potential subs have left her in the past year, but just<br />when Cerise thinks it’s impossible—that she’ll have to go back to<br />vanilla relationships, or be alone forever--she meets William, who<br />wants to make all her fantasies come true. He turns her home into a<br />geisha’s dream apartment, a concert hall with a grand piano (which he<br />uses to play an original composition while wearing a tuxedo), and even<br />rents an abandoned loft for a zombie apocalypse scene—complete with<br />canned goods.<br /><br />But there's something strange about William. Well, a lot of strange<br />things. He must be absurdly rich, since he can afford to provide<br />extravagant costumes and props on a daily basis without having to<br />leave work early. He must be insane, since he puts up with Cerise's<br />over-the-top demands. And most importantly, he doesn't redden when<br />he's spanked, and his skin is as cool as satin sheets. When Cerise<br />discovers she's become domme to the infamous "Chilly Willy," as he's<br />known throughout BDSM urban lore, she begins to find out there's a<br />whole lot more to her handsome submissive than a creative mind and a<br />hard body.<br /><br />And when it’s William, ironically, who starts pressing Cerise to give<br />him the kind of commitment she’s never given anyone, it’ll take<br />everything she has to work through her issues, confront her past, and<br />learn to be vulnerable.</span></div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal"><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">EXCERPT:</span></b></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in; text-indent: .5in;"><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 200%; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">In this segment, Cerise attends a BDSM speed-dating event and meets her match: William.</span></b></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in; text-indent: .5in;"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 200%; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">Then, I saw him.</span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 200%; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">An absolutely beautiful specimen was making his way towards my little table. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 200%; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">I sipped the soda again, careful to not smudge my lipstick.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Typically, Dommes were easy to find at mixers—the redder the lipstick, the stricter the rules.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Mine was crimson on the border of downright arterial.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I had hoped that my selection would weed out the weaklings in the pack.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I touched it up just in case it had faded and</span><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 200%;"> bent down to put the compact back into my bag.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>By the time I leaned back up, he was in front of me.</span><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 200%; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";"></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 200%; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">"Hello," he said sheepishly, eyes downcast.</span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 200%; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman";">This was a good sign. "I do, however, have a very long list of requirements, and I'm afraid I've scared everyone off, too. I'm just as used to rejection as you seem to be," I laughed. Half the local community thought it was great that I was a strong woman who won't settle for anything less than what I want, and the other half thought I was an insane bitch. On Thursdays, you will create an original scenario.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>You have free reign on those days, but please be creative. 500 Amazon reviews!!!

Wow. This morning Poughkeepsie hit 500 reviews on Amazon and I almost pooped myself. Okay, fine the IBS is in high gear butt still!
In my head it was a record. I do this thing with numbers and this was a huge one. I can't even thank you enough for reading this crazy story. The homeless hero? The pimp? Seriously. That I've happened to be fortunate enough to be read by such risk takers floors me.

I'm just a chick banging out pretend things on a computer. But because we connect --you and I-- I get to continue to pretend.

I'm biased. I'm such a huge fan of my readers. They're so intelligent and caring and crazy. Entertaining? Did I mention that? Compassionate. I feel like I was in a building with a few windows but every time a reader and I find each other it's like another window gets opened. It started in fanfiction and continues in this next step.

And every window is dear to me. The view there is fantastic. Thank you so much for allowing me to know you, letting me play like the asshole I am in your head.
You're so gorgeous and important to me. This is me giving you guys the hugest standing ovation. This ride is your fault and I appreciate it.
