Omnipotence

om·nip·o·tence

(ämˈnipədəns)

This is the quality of having unlimited power. This in itself is not a power (although I have a habit of making it seem that way), but a zenith; a quality.

1. Said being with quality is able to do anything that it chooses to do without fail.

2. Every action performed in existence and nonexistence is 'actually' being performed (or allowed) by the being, either due to omni-immanence and transcendence, or because all actions must be 'supported' or 'permitted' by the being.

Omnipotence is the quality of superseding the laws of physics, logic, nature, and the principles on which it has created the physical world. The being with Omnipotence can achieve absolutely anything without any limit or condition, including the conceptually impossible. Said being is necessarily invincible in all categories -- completely immune to all other modes and attributes.

However, this is the standard definition in which has been put into place, and debated for a while now. The problem is that when this is defined, it becomes a limit. This is the limit in which it is defined.

Let's look at it a different way, from the perspective of the universe understood in relation to the All.

Even with everything in the Omniverse being part of The All, it is possible that other things exist outside of The All. For example, The All may be just like us on its own level of existence, with its own The All above it. Other beings would be part of that greater All having the same difficulty interacting with us as anyone else has entering the dreams of others. In effect, let's say that Entity S1 has omnipotence. It has showed every feat imaginable and unimaginable in level 1, which in effect, to use, there can be no greater level or higher power. However, there is a level 2, in which beings like Entity S1 are basically ants in comparison to those higher than it. The ladder continues.

Just like how there are levels and scales, saying something is the zenith does not mean that there is not greater level and scale simply because you perceive something to be the highest point. The same can be said for attributes like Omniscience and Omnipresence and Omni-immanence.

Logic and Perspective does not get thrown out of the door. The rules do not change. The definitions do not change in one reality because another operates a different way. My stories embody this, as there is always a higher ladder, even if it is unwritten or unknowable. It's the equivalent of operating under our world. In one totality, Omnipotence is an apex; the zenith. In a higher totality, Omnipotence is just a regular power, something attributed to everyone at minimum, and so on. Logic and Perspective would exist in some fashion, but on a stage in which supersedes our totality which contains Logic and Perspective.

Suggsverse climbs the ladder, pretty much ignoring Omnipotence as it is something deemed a low point in my verse, below that in which Cannon Fodder can surpass. Gods that all-encompassing, all-knowing, all-powerful, all-present, all-able and perfect, are something that gets stepped on very, very easily. This is to climb to see how far I can reach, and show you at the same time, something beyond totalities, almighty and absolutes.

Pataphysics

Pataphysics

Pataphysics is the ultimate reality beyond metaphysics. Metaphysics is a branch of philosophy attributed with explaining the fundamental nature of being and the world. Metaphysics challenges to answer two basic questions in the broadest possible terms:

"What is there?"

"What is it like?"

Pataphysics is the higher branch of a greater philosophy or undefinable science that studies a higher degree of phenomena beyond the realm of metaphysics; the science of solutions beyond All, The All, and THE ALL.

Etymology

Pataphysics, originally a term coined by the French writer Alfred Jarry, is a philosophy dedicated to studying what lies beyond the realm of metaphysics. A practitioner of 'pataphysics is a 'pataphysician or a 'pataphysicist.

The word pataphysics is a contracted formation, derived from the Greek, ἔπι (μετὰ τὰ φυσικά) (epi meta ta physika); this phrase or expression means "that which is above metaphysics", and is itself a sly variation on the title of Aristotle's Metaphysics, which in Greek is "τὰ μετὰ τὰ φυσικά" (ta meta ta physika).

Definition

Pataphysics is the higher philosophy of a metapotence of that which is the basis of metaphysics, and supersedes it, existing within and beyond the limitations of metaphysics, extending far beyond metaphysics as well as the categories that rest beyond the hierarchy physics that branch beyond Possibility, Totality and Nothingness. Pataphysics is above All, The All, and THE ALL – transcending the meta-science of particulars. Pataphysics is where the laws, modes, attributes, concepts, and definitions are defined.

Pataphysics dominantly explains that which is beyond the ineffable, the unknown and the unknowable, transcending metaphysical and metapotence laws and boundaries. At minimum, it answers imaginary solutions. The higher philosophy of Pataphysics is so ethereal that it does not have an indisputable definition that passes simply from one state of apparent definition to another. It is beyond categories of truth, reality, All, The All, and THE ALL.

To elaborate further, Pataphysics supersedes the science of the rules governing the general recurrence of all theories of dimension, causality, Acausality, and continua.

Pataphysical Zenith

Pataphysics is that which influences the definitions of Omnipotence (See, omni-potence, has two concepts: All/Everything/Absolute Infinite - Power/Authority/Capacity-to-Act ), therefore, while “Omni” variants including Omnipotence can "transcend" to this zenith, by default, Omnipotence, which is an apex itself, under the logic of Pataphyiscs, is lower, because Omnipotence is a product of metaphysics.

Think of every Cosmics Character in every form of everything ranging from all of fiction, all of nonfiction, all of transfiction, all of fanfiction, all of metafiction, all interfiction, all of personal fiction, and all of impersonal fiction. Every Cosmic in every form of existence and nonexistence ever mentioned or seen (and above the absolute infinite multiplicity amount never mentioned, seen, or even conceived of yet…) in possibility, uncertainty, and actuality are characters that personify and/or conform to the Metaphysical Rules in the same way mortals and metaspecies, etc. exemplify and/or observe the Physical Rules of their Universe. Characters can rise beyond their limits, and thus, they enter into a Metaphysical Zone in which they see the categories in which their powers are defined and in which limits are defined.

It should be established that there is an impassable point at which a character either reaches or already is (and always has been and always will be) "Omnipotent" by "Metaphysical standards.” Saying this creates the red door that opens up establishing that it should also be established that said character without limitations possesses "limitations" that are not attributed on an abstract level. In other words, Omnipotence on this level creates a playing field in which you have an Ant versus an Ant, while those under this level are subjugated by this all-encompassing impassable apex. Those on the level of Pataphyiscs equate the level of Omnipotence to how we perceive Ants in this lower dimensional realm.

Pataphysics escapes all attributes and modes of Possibility, Totality and Nothingness, rejecting not only the former and hierarchy of Metaphysics, but the grand principles of creation. It is the denial of All, The All, and THE ALL pushed to the ultimate level. Pataphysics defines ultimate level of reality, far beyond the unknown, unknowable and unwritten origin of all definitions.

Omnipotence Defeated

I have had a few debates of my own recently involving Omnipotence. There are debates online that have created this definition of Omnipotence that basically surpasses its definition (the irony here…). In other words, Omnipotence isn’t Omnipotence, unless it’s the “defined” Omnipotence? I would question doesn’t the realm of Definition still surpass Omnipotence? I mean, in order for you to be aware of Omnipotence, decree what “true” Omnipotence is, and basically debate against or for Omnipotence and what isn’t Omnipotence, a definition is required?

It’s understandable that lower dimensionals want to maintain the notion that Omnipotence is tier 0 – the highest pinnacle of status. However, if one were to label it a limit, then it instantly gets attacked because that goes “against” what Omnipotence is. The satire here and the fallacy here of itself start to attack Omnipotence, and weaken it. Now, you once again create a logical definition for an illogical status. And when Omnipotence doesn’t meet your standard of perfection, you simply shrug it off as not the correct Omnipotence.

If Omnipotence is looked at as a power, then it gets attacked. If one gains omnipotence, then it’s not true Omnipotence, because it shouldn’t be something that can be gained? That’s another debate. While I agree that it shouldn’t be looked at as a power, there are definitions of Omnipotence that state that it means have infinite power. One could easily make this mistake. However, do these definitions specify how much infinite power it has? Does it elaborate on the levels?

I’ve seen Omnipotence classified as everything that I defined and created and more, and was wondering where this definition of Omnipotence is? This is similar to the God of Christian faith, where if new concepts are created, greater than it, there are those that simply add-on to what it already is in order to maintain its perfection.

I’ve seen the debate that real Omnipotence doesn’t exist because true Omnipotence would have power over real life and since no Omnipotent entity has such power, there is no Omnipotent. If they cannot go against another work of fiction, they are bound to their own work. Once again, a definition and a limit have been applied to Omnipotence. Ironically, I’ve yet to see such an official definition, outside of my own works. Then true Omnipotence is limited to copyrights. Omnipotence gains so many limitations and definitions, which also fall into the realm of Perspective. But what is real life? How do we not know our world is a fictional tale within the comic book of another dimension? What if one creates “real life” in their work of fiction (I see the irony here) and has Omnipotence over said dimension, why doesn’t the rule still apply?

There are so many factors in discussing Omnipotence. Nothing I’ve said is new. However, if it doesn’t fit one’s definition, then it’s not true Omnipotence. While so many give it a definition, and then state it is beyond definition – like it’s somehow beyond information (yet information about it exists), they call it illogical in respect or logical to a metaphysical extent; they still end up creating a limit for it themselves. But there are so few that actually try to see it from the realm of an Omnipotent entity, and how they would see said realm. The moment you say there is more than one, you’re like it cannot be real Omnipotence. Maybe their definition of one is different than ours? Maybe ALL that we define is something very small to them, which should be. Maybe they have their own version of zenith that is higher than what we call Omnipotence.

Ultimately, while there are various definitions of Omnipotence, even from the perspective of what is accepted, I do not see why it’s scaled the same in every fictional realm, where different realms encompass different scopes. It’s literally saying this entity can do this without any feats or backing that can confirm it, and surpass an entity that does have the feats that shows it's outright superior because they have the same status. That’s asinine.
