Artist's fiery work sparks San Francisco gallery blaze
“Parisian artist Claire Fontaine is known for her neo-conceptual works, but when a map of America constructed of matches was set ablaze late Tuesday night it sent San Francisco firefighters rushing to a Mission District neighborhood art gallery.”

The writing queue:
The Devil Makes Three: Haha new story! Southern Gothic style ghost story set in New Orleans. I am hoping to write the bulk of it while I am there and edit when I get home. Not short enough to be a one-shot but probably not novella length either.
Treasured: New chapter is about 50% done. There is smut.
Haunted City: Only 3 more chapters of this story! Hoping to get them done before summer.
Curatorial Practice: Sequel to Art Criticism. I will be launching the fundraiser to support the writing of this story mid-February.

My mom lives about 3 1/2 hours away from the gallery so she comes down for big events or to help install sometimes. I had a conversation with her this morning in which I explained the next thing I am doing is a fan fiction exchange. She knows what fan fiction is because my cousin lived in her basement for two years and moderates a Harry Potter fan fic site. She told me I should call my cousin and then asked me if she should come in a costume.
I fucking love my family so much.

You can use Gluten-free flour or any form of flour, tastes the same. And honey or agave nectar are great alternates for sugar. Tea is also a great alternate for coffee too.
I don’t have any kinda gluten sensitivity, just a general mistrust of refined food and some mild insomnia. I’ve been upping my whole grain intake (quinoa, brown rice, couscous, rolled oats) and sticking to veggies, fruits, lentils, beans and a little plain yogurt. It’s more of a break from a couple of weeks of bad eating while installing the last show.
Sadly this really messes with my vision of myself as the kind of Bohemian free spirit that roasts my own coffee out on the porch with a french baguette slathered in brie in one hand and a bottle of red wine in the other.
This week I cut sugar, white flour, coffee and alcohol from my diet. It really pisses me off how much better I feel.
