Thank you! I did just that and also contacted the original person, although it’s been just crickets on that end. It was extra creepy finding pages and pages of asks where this person is answering questions about my story and “the writing process” and totally failing to dig into a lot of the stuff I felt was the driving force behind the narrative. It didn’t help that they took out the Spanish and removed the fact that half the characters were Latino, so yeah. The only reason this even came to my attention is the fics were moved to Ao3 at the end of July this year and someone caught it.
