Perspective

We are so tiny, yet debate
As if the colour of the rainbow
Would change if we willed it so

Since childhood, we are taught fairplay
And to treat one another as our equal
Yet we still strive to be individuals

We have sheltered under the same
blue sky, looked out to the horizon
And gaze at the silvery moon

Throughout centuries, earth spins endlessly
And if she wobbles or shakes ever
so slightly, we give in to phenomenal fear

We are so tiny, yet debate
As if the colour of the rainbow
Would change if we willed it so

The storyteller Part II

The moon is high in the sky this momentI have all that I wish in this moment
The lingering scent of  perfume in the airMy resolve to go vanished this moment
As you catch my widened eyes and parted lipsTime and place is banished, this moment
Deep sighs intermingle with passion
The story undiminished this moment

A tear escapes at the end of the tale
Caught by forlorn and anguish this moment
My listener sits so still, enraptured
The storyteller shall cherish this moment

THE WILLOW MANOR BALL 2013

Come join us at the Willow Manor

la lune donne de la brillance
tout est baigné dans la poussière de fée
au Willow Bal ce soir

les mots de ninotaziz

I almost could not attend this year.
But a quick glimpse at the preparations, and I was hooked. It looks like so much fun. And Helen is already there!
So now I am in a frenzy trying to rent a fabulous gown and mask.
And who shall I ask at this last minute?

Dave

It's lovely three times over - Dave King

Autumn is gentle And on its velvety carpetYou walked away into the night
Did I say thank youFor all the kind words you gaveBefore I am forced to say adieu
Thank you DaveFor poetry til the endGentle, kind  and brave
Til the end.
Rest in peace.

At dawn tomorrow...

At dawn tomorrow, when the land is a blanket of white,I’ll leave. I know, you're waiting for me to come to you.
I will walk the  deep forest and mountain's height.
I can no longer live, so far away from you.

                                               - Victor Hugo

LoveDiscovered at the point of despairBrings all senses to a grinding haltTime is frozen, we dance in that momentWhere the world we believe, ceases to existThere shines a brilliant tunnel of lightIt takes me to you, incredibly trueI have to merely, follow serendipitySuch discovery, I will drown in sensual delightAt dawn tomorrow, when the land is a blanket of white…
BittersweetThis heady romantic glow cannot lastIts energy is like a shooting starTravelling the universe at lightning speedIt grows within like a torturous needAnd yet, as it burns, it runs out of fuel The cold star travels its course foreverAshes to ashes, before passion disappears Even for one as lovely as you, I know it is trueI’ll leave. I know, you're waiting for me to come to you

PiningAlas, with each step that drags me awayIt is only my heart that I leave behindI thus wonder, how will I live through this painHow do I get  the scent of you out of my mindAnd as the last bright spark of lightFades away and darkness falls throughI know now I will walk the rest of my daysWilling you to appear within my sightI will walk the  deep forest and mountain's height.
ForeverHaving tasted what was mine for an instantThe memory sears through eternityWithin the chaos of change, the only constantAs I breathe, think, live and dreamWhat do I do, what do I doWhere do I find solace for my lost lovemy own arrogance, my self destructionFor in the end, i realize the bitter truthI can no longer live, so far away from you.

- Victor Hugo
