Villere House: Blood of My Blood~published!

My latest, a collaboration with another author, Leslie Fear, is available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Another New Orleans setting, this PNR tackles ghosts and Voodoo, and has a little mystery and some historical aspects tossed in for fun. Oh and a little sex. Though it's not quite as dirty as some of my other stuff. ;-)

I'm happy to distribute a few review copies for those interested. Happy reading!

Expiez Review Copies

I'm happy to provide some review copies of Expiez (up to ten) for those who are willing to provide an honest review-here, Amazon, on a blog, wherever.

Expiez is a novella, so a little shorter than the others. It's also much lighter and sexier than Eveillez. I think it's more of a combination of the first two. Just a nice, simple, finale to the series.

Just let me know the preferred method of delivery and a way to get it to you (privately if you're shy).

Thanks a bunch!

It's alive!

At least on Amazon and Smashwords. Barnes & Noble, Apple, and some of the other retailers take a little longer, though I fully expect BN to be available later today.

Anyway, I'm happy to give out review copies to those who want them. I can give out ten or so.

Thanks!

Expiez...coming Sept. 4th.

Title says it all, but Expiez is back from the editors and I'm just doing my final check.

On another note, Eveillez is finally available in print form, and for those who like paper books, I promise not to take so long getting Expiez into print.

On another, another note, I've started work on my next book. This one is true contemporary romance about a woman who takes a contract job in Afghanistan to escape her troubles at home. With all those sexy, private security contractors...it's bound to get steamy. In a moist way, not that dry desert way. This book is 100% inspired by my husband who recently returned from his contract job in Afghanistan. Some really interesting stuff happens over there. Stuff I couldn't begin to make up...

Done!

Eveillez was just uploaded to Amazon and Barnes & Noble! It can take a day or two to go live, but I'll be sure to post when I see it's actually available.

What to write next...

So, now that Eveillez is in the wrap-up stages, I'm debating what to write next. There will be a fourth Human Vampire book, but it will be a shorty. I'm thinking about 20K words at most.

Beyond that, I have a couple options. I have a fantasy series that is 2/3 of the way done. The first book is finished but needs revamping, and the second is almost complete. I've struggled with trying to perfect this series for many years, primarily just the first half of the first book. But I think I might have figured out what needs to be trashed/combined/etc. It would still take me a couple months to edit.

The other option is to start a new book entirely. This one would involve actual, supernatural vampires and would be a sort of "alternate history" possibly set in a dystopian-lite world (I'm not a doom and gloom writer so I'm not 100% sure how dystopian I want to get).

I've started both: editing the fantasy and writing a few paragraphs on the vampire one. Just trying to figure out where to put my energy. Any thoughts?

Eveillez is with the betareaders!

And then to the editors. Unless there are major issues, It looks like it's on track to be released right around April 1st!
