Let’s establish the ground rules once and for all! It’ll never be repeated, so please save this to your records!
**I apologize to my loyal patrons, who may feel this is preaching to the choir or sounding like a broken record! I still think this info is good to have in everyone’s records, even if you’ve heard it before! I summarized a lot here, and it’s useful to have it all under one roof!**

However, I quickly realized I was preaching to the choir!
I NEEDED A PUBLIC POST, ACCESSIBLE TO EVERYONE WHO ISN’T CURRENTLY MY PATRON, BUT WHO’S INTERESTED!
The people who really need to hear it aren’t my loyal and long-term patrons. It applies to some very different people altogether.
Some of you may just be curious about how LADA RAY PATREON long-term private subscription, charged monthly, works and what the rules are to join and be in good standing! Some of you may have never been my patron, but perhaps this will help you decide to become one!
Yet, some may have not realized the consequences of breaking our rules or doing inappropriate things!
Some joined and un-joined my EXCLUSIVE LONG-TERM SUBSCRIPTION after 1-2 months to quickly grab the content that took me years to create, and run for the hills as quickly as their feet would carry them.
Others may have ghosted me after non-payment and disregarded my gracious email reminders. Some of these people may have been simply busy and I certainly don’t hold it against them!
It was rare, but I even had some people who joined when it suited them and un-joined multiple times when they decided ‘it was too much information’ or I wrote on ‘topics they weren’t interested in at that specific moment.’ There were a couple who demanded everything for nothing (won’t bore you with details, but it was interesting to learn such people exist). And there were a few who wrote rude or inconsiderate exit poll comments when deleting pledges. (That also isn’t typical, most people left me very nice exit poll comments – and those would never have any problem rejoining, if they wanted to!)
I don’t know what those who behaved ungraciously or rudely were thinking? That I am Amazon or Walmart, a revolving door that is a faceless, cheap commodity, which you peruse and throw out when you tire of it? And then fish it out and peruse again?
They thought I wouldn’t care or notice that the work of my life, into which I pour my heart and soul, is being treated this way?…
Unfortunately, such usurious behavior is pretty typical in some Western cultures!
Dear Friends! I want you to remember once and for all! I AM VALUABLE, I AM ONE OF A KIND! I have utmost respect for each and every one of my friends, followers, patrons, customers and clients, and I EXPECT THE SAME BACK!
I tolerated the behavior of some individuals, who apparently thought Lada Ray’s work is some fly by night, take what you please commodity and a one-way street. But the bad taste kept building up, until I decided enough is enough. At that point I had a list of offenders, who grabbed the content and unjoined within 1 month, or who were rude. Plus I had about 50 accounts that were in arrears, some for years.
This was getting to the point that among all the dead weight I couldn’t tell any more who was in good standing and active, and who wasn’t.
I still didn’t want to block anyone, even those who hurt me or left an aftertaste. I simply wanted to delete their accounts so they would stop crowding my accounting or reminding me of the painful moments I experienced!
But Patreon turned out very inflexible and didn’t allow me any other means of clearing the cache other than blocking the accounts I wanted to clear up. Among them were simply the people who ghosted me, and who did nothing wrong otherwise, and the only reason they needed to go was the inflexible and crowded Patreon system. I waited a few more months, giving everyone who may want to come back some grace time, and after that, between March and May of 2022, I blocked all the accounts that were in arrears, those who cancelled their membership after one month and those whose behavior was inappropriate or offensive. I marked most of them as ‘for other reason.’
I heard recently that Patreon sends a very harsh and inappropriate email to each such person, and I apologize for that. Those who simply were in arrears don’t deserve it! However, I cannot do anything about Patreon – other than ask them to change their policy, which I did. Will they act on it?… I don’t know.
However, people who ghosted me, skipped in and out depending on their mood, left me rude exit polls, or deleted their pledges after 1-2 months, should’ve thought about implications and acted differently, at least with some respect towards me and my work.
Below I’m offering a neat and honest way they should’ve handled it!
I also am offering you the way to come back, if you were blocked before, but made amends, and as long as you abide by our rules!
It may come as a surprise to certain individuals, but I am also human and have feelings! And another surprise: I will not allow anyone to disrespect me and my work!
In the past few days I’ve been contacted by two individuals who want to come back.
**AS OF THIS WRITING, ONE OF THEM ALREADY RESTORED HER $25 US PLEDGE, AND I CORDIALLY WELCOME HER BACK!
I welcome anyone, who has pure and respectful intensions and who understands that this is not a fly by night, but a LONG-TERM SUBSCRIPTION! If you pledge an amount, you are expected to honor it! It’s not for 1 or 2 months, so you can take a giant amount of content that took me years to create, and then run!
I understand that circumstances and priorities may change, but you should expect to be here for a year at least, if the timeframe is important for you to know. But why would you want to leave our one-of-a-kind community, which is the best you can ever find! This is where you find your soul family!
What’s better, to feel lonely and isolated in this world that doesn’t get you, AND OFTEN DOESN’T EVEN GET ITSELF?!
We are a great private community! Most of my today’s loyal patrons have been with me for years, and many from the very start in 2018!
If your circumstances change unexpectedly, see below!
The more I am respected, the more you get back! It works both ways!

WHAT I DO TODAY IF SOMEONE IS IN ARREARS
My best recommendation is to contact me and let me know that you have a gap due to your circumstances, and when you intend to come back! This way I’ll know not to block your account and I won’t delete your pledge!
If you are in arrears, I will contact you via Patreon messenger once, as a rule. Many people simply overlook their payments, or it can be a temporary glitch with the bank or Patreon, which get quickly corrected. That is never a problem and we are as good as always! 
If it’s ignored, Patreon usually sends such people several reminder emails, often for 2-3 months in a row. If all of that is ignored, then we have to assume you are out and don’t care to let me know.
Currently, I typically wait a few months, giving you a grace period in which to come back and restore your pledge. Then, unless you communicate with me, I’ll have no choice but to block your account. Sorry, but even if you’ve been a great patron and simply stopped paying at some point, Patreon will still send you a harsh email about being “blocked by Lada Ray because you did this or that…”! That email is not my doing and I told Patreon it wasn’t nice!
As you see, ghosting me is the worst thing you can do! Not knowing what you’re up to, I’ll do what I have to do!
The way to avoid it and save both of us unpleasantness and aggravation, is to follow my recommendations above!
IF YOU WANT TO LEAVE
If you aren’t coming back or aren’t sure when…
How to do it neatly and without causing problems, after all, some day you may still decide to come back, so why burn the bridges!
The way to do it neatly is for you to simply remove your pledge and write me a nice (RESPECTFUL!) exit poll note, telling me why you are leaving, like some people do. And those are the people, who, when they want to come back, will have no problem!
I had some very nice people, who praised and thanked me profusely in their exit polls and apologized they had to leave due to changes in income. There were some who went out of their way to either send me a nice private email or even schedule a private consultation, to explain why they are leaving and if and when they may come back. Those kinds of people will always be more than welcome!
But even a small exit poll note would do the trick, if that’s all you can do.
ABSOLUTELY, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES JOINING AND UNJOINING WITHIN 1-2 MONTHS!
This is a long-term subscription! Please respect me and my work, as well as your fellow patrons, who’ve been supporting me for years and earned all the content and perks they receive!

IF YOUR ACCOUNT WAS BLOCKED, BUT YOU WANT TO COME BACK!
The good people whose accounts were simply in arrears (I understand, it happens), or who made a mistake before but lately saw the light, are welcome to come back!
How to do it – instructions:
GREAT NEWS! I just found out that if you were my patron, but your account has been blocked BY ME for whatever reason, and if you want to come back, you CAN contact me and I can restore your pledge, provided there were no important reasons for the blocking, such as inappropriate or offensive behavior!
Use my email if you know it, or go to Business Contact Form
That is the easiest way, just contact me. However, I want to see that you really do understand the rules and intend to be in good standing!
ALTERNATIVE WAY OF REJOINING IF EITHER PATREON BLOCKED YOU BY MISTAKE, OR YOUR BANK OR PAYPAL SCREWED UP:
1. Sign up with a new account, using a DIFFERENT THAN BEFORE EMAIL AND NAME (you can change your name slightly, so it’s still recognizable).
2. You’ll probably also have to use a different card or bank.
3. If for some reason this trick doesn’t work, then you need to contact Patreon customer service!
CONTACTING PATREON CUSTOMER SERVICE
go to Patreon Help Center
and scroll down to “EMAIL PATREON SUPPORT” – email them and explain that you are trying to JOIN patreon.com/LadaRay and ask them to help you!
4. If you do not hear from Patreon within a few days (say 3-5 days), contact me!
Either email me direct or use my Business Contact Form!
I can open my own ticket with Patreon and ask them to help you! You’ll need to provide me with an explanation of what you’ve done so far, and I’ll need the name and email you are using, your country, and the amount of pledge! But try Patreon help center first!
When sending email to Patreon, use my name and say I directed you here!
