Meet and Greet Power Rangers Live in Genting During School Holidays

Are you a huge fan of Power Rangers? When I was a child, I liked em very much. I practically grew up with Power Rangers. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to be exact.

My parents did not approve it as the showtime back then somewhat clashes with my tuition class and I would occasionally skip classes or asks for replacement so that I could watch Power Rangers. My favourite was the Yellow Ranger, and I could still remember collecting Power Rangers merchandises and stashing them down under my bed so that my mother wouldn’t find my treasure.

As I grow up, I grew out of Power Rangers and started to go nuts on Japanese manga and anime, but the child in me still got excited over Power Rangers when I discovered that they are making a comeback and in live show in Malaysia nevertheless; Power Rangers Live in Genting 2016.

I was given an opportunity to watch it first hand during the media preview in Resorts World Genting and it felt like a childhood dream came true. I felt like a little girl all over again, fantasizing that I’m Yellow Ranger.

Power Rangers Live in Genting 2016, is the first Power Rangers live show to be ever held in Southeast Asia.

 photo IMG_2720_zpsrjoh9hhg.jpg

Power Rangers Live in Genting 20162 is based on the two Power Rangers television series, the popular Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and Dino Charge.

 photo IMG_2624_zpsakrfljjj.jpg

The stage performance focuses on the battles between the Power Rangers and Sledge’s army for the former’s magical Energems that hold invincible powers.

 photo IMG_2546_zpss2rqr5ru.jpg

The Power Rangers, the five warriors chosen by the Energems to protect Earth and to prevent it from falling into evil hands, find themselves repeatedly engaged in battle with Fury, Poisandra and their sidekicks.

But one of the Power Rangers, Pink, is captured by the villains—along with an Energem. The fate of the world then lies in the hands of the rest of the Power Rangers—they have to free Pink and regain the Energem.

Attractions in Bentong: Bee Farm & Bee Museum

This is a continuation of my Cuti Cuti Malaysia #Dekatje Visit Bentong project. While the place I’ll be talking about is not exactly geographically located in Bentong, it is pretty much a place that is located nearby. Located in between the small town of Raub and Bentong, Valley Agro Park is actually famous locally for being a must visit attraction should you visit Bentong, Pahang.

Valley Agro Park consists of a few attractions on it’s own, which are the chalets, the Bee Farm and Bee Museum, the restaurant and the fishing pond. It is a perfect place for an eco escapade but if you are looking for something sweetly educational, try visiting the Bee Farm and the Bee Museum, located in the vicinity of Valley Agro Park.

 photo 20160507_132325_zpsouyn78df.jpg

The Bee Farm and the Bee Museum is pretty much unique and houses stingless bees that produce honey with unique taste.

We get to see plenty of beehives where stingless bees goes about their daily lives, collecting honey from plants and flowers around them.

Attractions in Bentong: Mini Rabbit Petting Zoo in Bilut Extreme Park

Love to get up close and personal with little furry friends? Here’s one place you can go to; the Bilut Extreme Park in Bentong. While the main attraction is the ATV off-roading ride throughout the palm oil terrain and outdoor sports archery, they also have mini rabbit petting zoo in the vicinity of the extreme park. I had the opportunity to get friendly with the little furkids during my Mother’s Day trip with my family in Bilut Extreme Park, and my, what an experience it was.

Must Visit Places in Bentong, Pahang

Malaysia is a country that’s rich in cultural diversity and have plenty to offer when it comes to tourism. Being a tropical country and is warm and humid whole year through, Malaysia is a perfect place for some outdoor adventures or some eco-escapade. There are plenty of states you can visit in Malaysia, but here’s sharing some the road less traveled kinda places that you should visit when you are in Malaysia; Pahang.

Whenever we talk about Pahang, things that will cross your mind is probably the well famed National Park, but there is more to Pahang than just the National Park.

 photo 20160508_185158_zps9uv7ydlr.jpg

One of Pahang’s hidden gem that is a must visit is the small town of Bentong. Locally famous for it’s wondrous production of ginger, Bentong has much more to offer than just it’s lively morning market or the hot water spring.

I’ve written about attractions in Bentong, Pahang in my previous blog posts here:

http://cleffairy.com/things-to-do-in-bentong-2/

http://cleffairy.com/attractions-in-bentongbentong-walk/

http://cleffairy.com/attractions-in-bentong-the-wet-marketmorning-market/

http://cleffairy.com/attractions-in-bentong-lemang-to-ki/

But my wanderlust in exploring this fascinating town does not just stop there.

My family and I had the opportunity to visit Bentong again and discovered that there are a couple more places that you can visit while you are in Bentong, Pahang; Bilut Extreme Park, Bee Farm/Bee Museum and Valley Agro Park.

I will share more in depth write ups about these places in other posts, but here’s briefly sharing about the newly explored places that I think is a must visit:

Bilut Extreme Park

 photo 20160507_102718_zpsbt2q48jm.jpg

Bilut Bilut Extreme Park is located at Felda Lurah Bilut, the 1st Felda in Malaysia. The Bilut Extreme Park is approximately 18 km away from Bentong Town and 16 km away from Raub Town and is actually located in a plantation area which is surrounded by palm oil trees.

There are plenty of things you can do in Bilut Extreme Park, and if you are an extreme sports lover, you will definitely love this place.

Bilut Extreme Park offers plenty of interesting thing for Adrenaline junkies;  ATV ride and outdoor archery.

Apart from that, there is also a mini rabbit petting zoo where little children could go and be friendly with cute little rabbits. More about Bilut Extreme Park in detail HERE.

House of Bees/Bee Museum.

This is another must visit place while you are in Bentong. The Bee Farm is nestled in the heart of Valley Agro Park a sanctuary for bees.
