Windswept as-it-happens and Saga review copies

As of today, I have two weeks free of work and school and will be wiping out chapters on Windswept. This is another reason I haven’t been online as much as I should be. But I’m taking this opportunity to catch everyone up on the harpie world.

So if you guys don’t follow my twitter(@CSibline), here’s the 411.

The Windswept summary is going to change. I originally threw in a summary for the tab as a temporary place holder. The more of the book I write, the more I realize that the short synopsis is definitely not going to make the cut.
Windswept
is probably going to be the most massive of the three books, and throwing every reader into the heart of the harpie world isn’t coming easily. And as I’ve realized how complex it is, I’ve strung the plot tighter and thus I need a new summary.
I haven’t acted on it yet. I’ve been writing so much I haven’t decided where to go with a summary.

I suppose the only sneak peek I can remotely give is that Avery is finally graduating, my characters are getting older (*sniff sniff*), we’ll finally get an insight to living like a harpie.

I’m very happy about how everything is turning out and I’m definitely working to make it better than Grounded.
It’s still to be expected in 2012 and don’t quote me on it, but likely towards the end of summer.
I’m also having the cover made shortly. I’ll have another release event for that one a month or two prior, but I can’t say more now.
Also, you didn’t miss it. I haven’t made the announcement about whether Windswept would be the last book in the series yet and I’m definitely no closer to deciding.

So I think that covered all of the Windswept bases.

The last thing I want to update people on (mostly bloggers) are the review copies.
People have been asking me nonstop about getting review copies of the series. While I’d love to be able to work with bloggers, my ability to give away books has gone from hard to downright impossible.
I took names for a waiting list but even stopped this. While those people are still first priority, I just can’t afford copies. Paperback copies aren’t cheap and since I took my little leap of faith recently (quit my job, moved, and went back to school), finances definitely aren’t what they used to be. I can’t afford to do any more paperbacks. I still will consider giving out e-copies of the books.
So for any bloggers out there who have requested a copy or want to, this is the bad news. If it changes, I can update but it likely won’t until I’m out of school in three years.

Anyways, I’m back to work for now. Happy holidays!
