Writer’s Logjam
We’ve all heard of Writer’s Block – where a person has a hard time getting their writing started. I just went through a session of Writer’s Logjam. I am beginning the next book, which is set in the Janus Unfolding world. I had a dozen or so ideas and they all wanted to be first in line, sort of like logs floating down the river and getting jammed together. I broke through the logjam and am in the third chapter.

Author – System Upgrade!
Chanticleer Author’s Conference 2016 like other CACs was very focused on helping independent authors be successful. I’m in the process of putting the good ideas I received to work:

Perfect the product – I asked Sara Stamey, award winning author of The Ariadne Connection and Islands for editor...

This is from an email that I just received from my good friend, Jerry:
I did send a request to the King County Library with a note that you are a local author and receiving the Cygnus Award and they should stock some of your books. I see that they have ordered 8 copies of Janus Unfolding (Not sure if it is 1 or 2)?? And 6 copies of Emergence.
Thanks, Jerry!!

Whew! That took a while.
I found out what was stopping me. Toward the end of the third book in the series, I began to add chapters that if they have any place it would be in another book. Once I gained that perspective, I was able to see how to bring book three to a successful conclusion. I’m writing it now. Soon to be able to say, the first draft of this one is done.
