I DIED
This is hysterical to me. Seriously. My father used to have me and my three siblings repeat after him: "I am a child. I apologize for breathing."
It was all done in jest - believe me - we weren't abused. My parents both suffered harsh impoverished upbringings, and the lalala "Brady Bunch" mentality of 70's California didn't sit well with them.
I have a kick-ass work ethic, and I thank them for it.
