Win a signed, early Red Sister hardcover!
If you can arrange the numbers 1 to 8 in any order then you are in with a decent chance of winning an early hardback of Red Sister!
If you can recognize authors by their writing that chance increases dramatically!
I wrote a short story, taking turns with these guys:
Miles Cameron,
Sebastien de Castell,
John Gwynne,
Conn Iggulden,
Jane Johnson,
Peter Newman,
Garth Nix.
Figure out or guess which of us wrote which section. Prizes for a random entry and for the 2 entries that get most correct!

Red Sister gets its first blog review!
"Red Sister is the first in a new fantasy trilogy from Mark Lawrence. I’ve been a fan of Mark’s work for quite a while, so I must admit that I went into the new book with high expectations, and a little trepidation. Could the new book, the new world, the new characters – could they excite, horrify, depress and elate, could they explore the human condition as well as his preceding works? Just to get it out of the way, the answer was an emphatic yes. This is a book very distinct from everything that came before; what it has in common though is a narrative that pulls no punches, and characters that are beautifully, brokenly, repellently, cleverly human."

Forgive me teasing over a book due in April but it's the first "new world" I've released since Prince of Thorns and I'm really hoping to get new readers to notice and consider adding me to their reading list.

A *MAILING LIST*? How exiting!
Yes, it's a staggeringly exciting announcement. A mailing list! Just what you always wanted to be on.
I'm starting a mailing list. The main claim to fame is the promise of a maximum 3 emails a year. I plan to use it for "my new book is now out" messages.
To encourage you to sign up I will be randomly selecting 3 people who subscribe in the first week to win a signed Red Sister, or hardcover Road Brothers or The Wheel of Osheim (US) as they choose.
Just go here and give me your email. I won't mistreat it.
