The Sun is reporting that Paul McCartney will “front a Nirvana reunion” at the 12-12-12 Sandy benefit tonight. Rumor has it they’ll be playing a new song, not Nirvana material, so—even overlooking the absence of Kurt—calling it a “Nirvana reunion” is a stretch. And it’s not like Grohl,Novoselic and Smear haven’t all played together in recent years.
