Welsh folklore is filled with tales that transport us to a time when the world was more mysterious and magical. In my new book, I've gathered some of the most captivating stories that highlight the charm and wonder of these ancient legends. One tale features a brave maiden who sings to calm a water monster that threatens her village. Her voice carries through the misty valley, allowing her people to capture the beast and restore peace to their land.

Another story reveals the adventures of a humble shepherd who stumbles upon a hidden cave filled with a treasure guarded by fairies. The fairies generously offer him a share, but with a stern warning—he must not be greedy. When the shepherd tries to take more than offered, he is cast out, and the treasure vanishes forever.
