Storytelling by blog: "...she's a flight risk"
Storytelling by blog: another example is the 2003 "...she's a flight risk". Like a personal diary told in public, the author describes her current life experience. "Isabella" has left her marriage, and fears for her life. Post by post unfolds her story through flashbacks, notes on the day, and concerns for the future.
Is it true? Like some digital stories I explore, its fictional nature is open to question. John H. Richardson looked into this as it unfolded in "The Search For Isabella V." Esquire, October 1, 2003.
A good sense of the story can be found in exploring this Internet Archive copy. (The Wayback Machine is a terrific resource for researching older digital stories, as they sometimes vanish from the current Web)

Storytelling by blog: the Pepys Diary
Another example of blog-based storytelling is the Pepys Diary. Each day this blog republishes a diary entry from Samuel Pepys' diary, on the corresponding date.
For example, for May 10 2011, we see May 10 1668:
Beyond the basic content, the Pepys Diary adds annotations and background material.
Importantly for storytelling purposes, each blog post can contain comments. Those comments play a role in how we perceive those entries. Readerly reactions, extra information from specialists: these add more content of all sorts to the seventeenth-century core.

Storytelling by blog and remix
Small Town Noir is a fine example of storytelling by blog, plus storytelling through remix.
Remix: Small Town Noir's contents are news accounts of crime in New Castle, a western Pennsylvanian burg. They are supplemented by by Diarmid Mogg's observations.
Blog: STN publishes bits of this archive through a blog platform. You can read through, or wait for new items to appear serially through syndication.
