On June 22, Kim Kardashian shared Instagram photos from her eldest daughter North West‘s 10th birthday slumber party that took place earlier this month, headed by a rare photo of herself posing with pregnant sister Kourtney Kardashian in matching pink pajamas—outfits supplies for the guests. She captioned the pic, “Troop Beverly Hills.”
Kim shared her post after recent episodes of the family’s series The Kardashians depicted a feud that erupted between the sisters over the SKIMS founder’s choice to collaborate with Dolce & Gabbana on a runway show in September 2022. The event took place months after the label worked with Kourtney to design her wedding dress for her and Travis Barker‘s nuptials at Domenico Dolce and Steffano Gabbana’s Italian estate.
Many people quickly brought up the on-air feud between Kim and Kourtney, a mom of three who is currently expecting her and the Blink-182 drummer’s first child together, in the comments section of the SKKN BY KIM founder’s post.
“Thought y’all were beefing,” one user wrote, while another speculated, “Awww look who made up.” Another person asked, “Y’all done with the D&G beef?”

On June 23, Kylie Jenner shared an adorable TikTok video showing herself taking her and Travis Scott‘s daughter Stormi Webster on a shopping trip to one of the retailer’s stores.
“Today, we are going on a mommy-daughter adventure,” the Kylie Cosmetics founder said, sitting in a car with the 5-year-old. “Where are we going?”
Stormi responded, “We’re going to Target.”
Kylie jokingly corrected her, “It’s Tar-jay! It’s Tar-jay.”
According to the Kardashians star, Stormi, the eldest of her and Travis’ two kids, woke up that morning and told her she wanted a “mommy-daughter day.”
Kylie’s TikTok video then shows the two inside a Target store, with mom pushing Stormi in a red shopping cart and taking a mirror selfie in the kids’ clothing section. Among the items in the cart: A pair of blue Crocs, pink water shoes, rain boots and a Miraculous Ladybug dress-up kit.

Though the 36-year-old was only a teen when she first appeared on Laguna Beach, she’s making sure her kids Camden, 10, and Jaxon, 9, and Saylor, 7 (with ex Jay Cutler) have plenty of time to enjoy their childhood before going on camera.
As she exclusively told E! News’ Francesca Amiker, “My oldest would love to be a YouTube star. That’s not happening.”
“He’s a little too young for that right now,” she said at the Chase Ink Business Premier event, noting that she would support him launching his own business down the line. “For the most part, they’re still just young being kids.”
And that means they have wide-ranging career aspirations. According to Kristin, her oldest also wants to play in the NFL just like his dad, who retired in 2017.

But so much of his daughter-related lyrics reflect his fear of not being there for them, whether because he’s on the road or, more often, because he’s gone for good, a scenario he alludes to in 2017’s “Arose”: “Smile pretty for pictures, always cherish each other / I’ll always love ya / And I’ll be in the back of your memory / And I know you’ll never forget me / Just don’t get sad when remembering.”
It makes sense then, that back in 2011, he told Rolling Stone that, to him, being a good father meant “just being there. Not missing things. If there’s anything important going on, regardless of what it is, I’m there. Helping them with homework when you can. At the grades my older ones are in, it’s hard.” He added with a laugh, “I never even passed ninth grade. They’re already way smarter than me.” (He had since completed his GED.)
And it broke his heart whenever they couldn’t be together, such as when he was hospitalized in 2007 following a methadone overdose.
“I think I’d been out for two days, and when I woke up, I didn’t realize it was Christmas,” Eminem told Rolling Stone. “So the first thing I wanted to do was call my kids. I wanted to get home, and show them that Dad’s OK.” It was “definitely” hard to miss the holiday, not to mention Hailie’s Dec. 25 birthday. “Being a father, wanting to be there with your kids. Michael Douglas sent a congratulatory message on Friday to a rising star, alongside a photo that isn’t easy to forget.
The actor, 78, took to Instagram with an image of himself shaking the hand of French basketball sensation, Victor Wembanyama – aka Wemby – and the snapshot is astounding.
Wemby stands at an impressive 7 feet 5 inches tall, while Michael is 5 feet 9 inches. The 34-year-old actress and her partner Derek Richard Thomas welcomed daughter Louetta into the world on 18 April and she recalled how her labour at home was going to plan but things suddenly moved quickly and she “dilated from two to eight inches in about an hour”, meaning she was ready to start pushing but the fluids surrounding the baby were still intact.
Rumer – who had her boyfriend, mom Demi Moore and sisters Tallulah and Scout Willis with her when she gave birth – recalled on the ‘Informed Pregnancy’ podcast: “[My doula] was checking me and felt my water bag bulging, but still not popping, which was wild,” Rumer recalled. “So, I was like, ‘Well, should we break it?’ She goes, ‘Well, you can.’ I’m like, ‘What?!’ I was like, ‘Are you serious?’
“I reached my finger up there, and I’m feeling and it was crazy,” she shared. “I could totally feel this little bag — it feels like a water balloon, but with a bit tougher skin.

“[The doula] said, ‘OK, on the next contraction, just push against it with your finger.’ And I popped it. I think there’s a photo of me and I just have this look of shock and surprise on my face.”
From that moment, Rumer’s labour progressed quickly and she barely had time to register what was happening.
She said: “It was like, I pushed a little bit… well, I didn’t push a little bit, I pushed harder than I’ve ever probably, but it was literally like I pushed, her head was out. I pushed again and her whole body was out.
“There was no pause in between. It wasn’t one of those moments where it was, ‘Oh, your head is out.’
“My midwife and my partner caught her. It was the wildest thing. She had a cord wrapped around her neck, but it was also wrapped around her body in like almost like a prom sash. We had four hands under there, under the birth stool. I’m going, ‘Give me the baby. Give the baby.’”
“But then, as soon as they untangled her, she was in my arms.”
The ‘House Bunny’ star described holding her daughter for the first time as “the most ecstatic, joyful moment of [her] entire life.”
She added: “I just started sobbing with joy. I have some of the most beautiful photographs of it of just me looking at her, and looking at my sisters, and looking at my mom and my mom holding me.
“My sister actually told me something later that I didn’t even realise I said. I looked at Louetta at one point, and I said, ‘I missed you so much.’ I thought that was so sweet because it truly was like this moment of, ‘Oh, yes! We’re back together.’
“It’s like, ‘Oh, yes. This person who I’ve known and I’ve been waiting for forever, here you are.’”

In “The Story Of Us,” Taylor Swift sings about a relationship that seems to have fallen apart. “I used to think one day, we’d tell the story of us/How we met and the sparks flew instantly/And people would say, ‘They’re the lucky ones.” Later in the song, Swift sings, “I don’t know what to say since the twist of fate/When it all broke down/And the story of us looks a lot like a tragedy now.”
While it has never been confirmed, most fans agree that this song is likely about her relationship with John Mayer. As Swift once explained to MTV, the song was inspired by the experience of bumping into an ex at an awards show. “It was a guy I had been in a relationship with, falling out, then we end up at the same awards show,” she said. “Both trying to act like we don’t care … both like, you know, chatting up the people next to us.”
She went on, “Afterward, I just felt so empty, like we were both fighting this silent war of pretending we didn’t care that the other was there.” The clue in her liner notes reads, “CMT Awards.” As it turns out, Swift did end up bumping into Mayer at the CMT Awards shortly after their break up.

U.S. Navy Steps Up Efforts to Curb Iran’s Ship Seizures in Strait of Hormuz
The United States is increasing patrols in the busy shipping lanes, where Iranian forces have taken two internationally flagged tankers in recent weeks.
U.S. Navy warships stationed in the Persian Gulf region have increased their patrols through the Strait of Hormuz, the busy merchant ship passageway, in response to recent moves by Iran to seize two oil tankers, the latest sign of rising tensions between Iran and the United States.

“Iran’s actions are unacceptable,” Vice Adm. Brad Cooper, the commander of U.S. naval forces in the region, said in an interview on Monday at the Navy base here in Bahrain. He was speaking several days after he rode a Navy guided-missile destroyer through the strait of Hormuz, along with leaders from the French and British navies, in an effort to send a unified message to Iran.
Iran has “harassed, attacked or interfered” with 15 internationally flagged merchant ships since 2021, Pentagon and White House officials said this month, as they announced the move to increase patrols by U.S. Navy ships, drones and planes, as well as those of United States allies in the region.
Most recently, Iran’s Navy flew a helicopter over the deck of an oil tanker named Advantage Sweet in late April. The Marshall Islands-flagged ship had been chartered by Chevron, on its way to Houston from Kuwait, and according to Lloyd’s List, which tracks shipping, was carrying 750,000 barrels of crude oil.
Commandos from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps lowered themselves to the Advantage Sweet’s deck via a rope and seized control of the vessel just after it had passed through the Strait of Hormuz. Iran then showed a celebratory video of the seizure on state television.
Six days later, a dozen speedboats from the Iranian navy surrounded a second oil tanker, this time the Panama-flagged Niovi, after it left a dry dock in Dubai, on its way to another port in the United Arab Emirates. The ship was forced to divert to Iranian territorial waters.
The United States “will not allow foreign or regional powers to jeopardize freedom of navigation in the Middle East waterways, including the Strait of Hormuz,” John Kirby, a spokesman for the White House National Security Council, said when he announced the increased U.S. Navy patrols earlier this month.
The Strait of Hormuz, which is bordered by the United Arab Emirates and Oman on one side and Iran on the other, is as narrow as 21 miles. But it sees constant merchant ship traffic, particularly among oil tankers that supply oil to the world.

Timothy Hawkins, a spokesman for the Navy’s Fifth Fleet based in Bahrain.
The Navy Fifth Fleet’s operations cover 2.5 million square miles of water, from the Persian Gulf to parts of the Indian Ocean, and more of its vessels will now be focused in the area around Iran.
“It is sort of like when you rotate more patrols cars on a highway,” Commander Hawkins said. “They get off the exit and turn back around, and keep doing these loops.”
On Tuesday, a U.S. Coast Guard cutter, preceded by a drone vessel that the Navy operates in the Persian Gulf, sailed through the Strait of Hormuz, along with the U.S.S. Paul Hamilton, the guided-missile destroyer, which had also made the same trip on Friday.
In response to the recent moves by the United States, Iran has argued that its action against the two merchant ships came after they both violated international maritime regulations, including the Advantage Sweet, which Iranian officials assert had collided with an Iranian boat, injuring crew members.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran considers the continued presence of foreign military forces in the waters of the Persian Gulf as a threat to the security of navigation in this strategic waterway and believes that the countries of the region have the ability to protect the peace and security of navigation in it without the presence of foreigners,” Nasser Kanani, a spokesman for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said in a statement.
In April, just before Iran seized the Advantage Sweet oil tanker on its way to Houston, the United States intercepted a ship carrying Iranian oil that the government asserts was violating sanctions, according to Ambrey, a marine intelligence firm, as first reported by The Financial Times. The U.S. authorities said the seizure had been authorized under a court order.
Dating to at least the mid-1980s — when there was a period nicknamed the Tanker War because of a series of attacks by Iran on merchant ships in the Strait of Hormuz — there have been cycles of escalation in the region as the ship intercepts by Iran have intensified or waned.

“It is almost like Kabuki theater that both countries have engaged in for a very long time, even if the reality of serious armed conflict is close to unthinkable for both nations,” said John Ghazvinian, the director of the Middle East Center at the University of Pennsylvania and the author of a book on the history of relations between Iran and the United States.
But the animosity between the two nations has increased over the past several years. Two ship crew members were killed in July 2021 when an Iranian-built drone, armed with explosives, attacked the merchant ship named Mercer Street, off Oman, an incident that American and European officials said they believed Iran was behind.
The United States had already been using its Navy and Coast Guard ships in the region to look for weapons and drugs being sent through the Persian Gulf, as Iran has been accused of helping arm its allies in Yemen, Syria and Lebanon, and more recently, of sending its attack drones to Russia, where they have been used to attack Ukraine.
Tensions have also intensified since the Trump administration withdrawal in 2018 of the United States from a nuclear deal with Iran, which then moved again to start enriching its uranium supply closer to levels needed to make a nuclear weapon.
The Pentagon announced in April that it was extending the tour of the aircraft carrier George H.W. Bush in the eastern Mediterranean and speeding up the deployment of Air Force A-10 attack planes to a base in the Middle East. It also made the rare public announcement that the United States was sending a guided-missile submarine to the Middle East.
Mr. Ghazvinian said the recent actions by the Pentagon could be an effort to reassert U.S. relevance in the region, after China in March stepped in to help negotiate a diplomatic rapprochement between Saudi Arabia and Iran. Some Gulf Arab officials said China’s growing presence suggested they could no longer rely on the United States to guarantee their security.
Commander Hawkins, the Navy spokesman, said both the United States and Iran had the right to patrol the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, and have been doing so for decades.
