Finally!!!

So I finally figured out how to change my word doc into a PDF without going through the actual Acrobat website. It was a little complicated but I finally figured it out. I am satisfied with my book and the format. Now I'm just wait for the second proof to arrive, and it is off to be distribute on Amazon and other places.

Short Stories

I have a million ideas going on in my head, but those ideas do not make it to the standerd novel word count. So what I have decided to do is create a short story of the month. This is to give my readers something to look forward to while waiting for the next masterpeice.

I love to write and I feel like if I do not get these stories out of my head, I will go nuts. So starting April I will post a short story in the beginning of the month.

Ugh!!

So I go through the necessary correction for my proof, and I found that the chapters are off. Ugh! Dangit PDF. Now I have to figure out a way to upload a PDF file in a 5x8 format rather than a 8x5.

I am here to help others. Because when your doing things yourself the computer lingo that self publish websites (Createspace) use is like a foreign language.

Proof

I just recived my proof today. I am really happy about the way everything is going so far. Looking at my proof, the melt downs were worth it ;-) . I have to make a few corrections and adjustments. Once I make those corrections then the book will be ready on paperback.

Book Trailer

Now that I have finish the book trailer, I just need to figure out how in the world to add sound to it. I created it through powerpoint but their is a song I want to add to it. Once I do that it will be complete.I will figure this out on my own.

Tags

As a new author and being self published, I really didn't know the importance of tags. Like some who are in the dark about tags like I am, it is key words for your book when customers are browsing book categories. I was told the more you have the more likely your book will come up. I tried it...and beleive it or not it was true. Tell me what you think about TAGS?

The Wonderful World Of Electronics

So I finally bought a new phone. And the reason for this is because when I get off of work all I want to do is write and go to sleep. I spend on average three hours per day (after work) being on the internet and not in my word document. Now with my new phone I can check email, blog, and continue to post on the social network sites. Ahh! Yes the wonderful world of electronics.

Day Off

So today was suppose to be my day off form the computer. I was going to take a break for a few days. It seems as thought it is impossible to break away from my computer. Every time I looked at my laptop sitting there looking lonely I can't help but pick it up. And then I open it. Its really hard. But I need to take a few days off from it. I will give it 2 days at the most after tonight.

Brain Cells

After going to work, coming home to change my bed clothes, and trying to spread the word about my book my brains cells are completely burnt out today. I wrote about two pages today for my next project, but I wish I had more time. My deadline for the first part of this book is the beginning of April (my personal deadline).
