Gravity
As I explore my early fifties, I’m experiencing what every successful middle-aged comedian said I would. It’s something we’ve been experiencing since day-one but never to this degree. Gravity. Me and the wife took the morning to investigate “luggage” support. I know, it’s not necessarily luggage because I dont pack things down there, but that’s […]

Things Rhyme
Poetry has always come naturally to me. Whether it is an expression of emotion toward someone I care about, or a display of humor pointed in the direction of those I loathe, it is my true outlet. Several of these works were written in a passenger seat while exploring the highways of the United States […]

Channel 8 (a poem)
Weathermen and Gen X preachers Pedo stache; Caucasian features JCPenny credit card Brand new pants with room on-hard Frog-eye bulge for generations Pelvic thrusts on every station A friend for any thunderstorm Back at you, ladies, keep it warm

Sick Of Lame Horror Films?
I finally managed to run through this game from beginning to end in one video. Woohoo for Saturdays! Do not take this journey lightly. This game is frightening, grotesque, and extremely violent. I’ve been playing it since it released over a decade ago, and it still makes me anxious. Enjoy at your own risk.

Oh, I See (a poem)
Sultry midnight And it’s only just begun Scorched sidewalks Sleepless, perspirated naps Natural comfort goes drought Cooked, crooked, & mistook Texas Summer draws nigh Season of wealth Season of beauty Season of childhood None of the above? Pick a spot between Christmas and Halloween; worship accordingly Mind the gap Oh, I see Sneaky move, sis […]

To My Fellow “Is-Be’s”
Ok, my peeps, let’s get this out of the way. Just like our gracious host says at the beginning of every episode, “I don’t know if this is true, but sometimes you have to dismiss your disbeliefs. You may be missing out on a really good story.”

Rev-olt-ing: The Weekly Rev.
May 16th, 2025 Desperation. I was driving through the Dallas historic 10th street district aka the old freedman’s community post 1865 aka the steadily gentrifying “hood”. I have a kid who goes to school in that neighborhood, and it’s always a treat to show him the hordes of prostitutes and crack dealers who are getting […]

Diddy Gray
I’ve said nothing about this, and nothing has really made me flinch. People in power do whatever their twisted minds can imagine. Those with horrendous secrets get older quicker. That’s the universe saying they’re done with you. Yesterday, the world pretended to be shocked – because it’s obviously the cool thing to do – as […]

Love is…
To most, 1865 was an eye-opening year. The American Civil War was officially over and the soldiers fortunate enough to survive the bloody conflict returned home to collect the pieces of their former lives. To young Arizonan, Robert Jack, the fateful desert homecoming marked the end to all he once knew. Forgiveness is overrated. Death […]
