Immortal Thirst by Tyler Robbins ~ Let Me Buy You a #Menage

I’m very picky with my reads. Certain themes I can’t take, can’t let down my guards long enough to try. It’s weird, the way I love to read, the way I’m addicted to my books, but will most certainly turn away from something I desperately want to read because of certain themes. I’ve been doing my best to sort of broaden my horizons, to stop being so freaking picky and uptight.

Yes, uptight.

I have relaxed my stance on certain things in my romance novels, but the last big one remained until now. I...

Oh Readers, Wherefore Art Thou?

I happen to be a creature of habit. Good habits, bad…who can really tell? I like my routines and tend to stick with what works for me, what’s the most comfortable and what feels familiar.

Not that I’m not a fan of trying new things, it simply takes a lot for me to do so.

Of course, I’m sensing now that this doesn’t really work much when it comes to reaching out and finding readers. I gotta move like you readers move, gotta go where you are. But where are you exactly? Facebook and Twitter, goes...

Till Mercy Blurb

In getting my shit together to sub Till Mercy to my publisher, I’ve finally written ablurb. Two seconds ago. I kid you not. I hesitated to doso before now because of who Nate’s love interest is. A secret, but I did give away some in the blurb. Couldn’t be helped. But I had to write a blurb. So there you go.Nathan’s blurb. And yep, you’re gonna want to read Till Surrender (book #2) before you read Nathan’s. Not a requirement, but couldn’t hurt.

Once public enemy Number One to the Paranormal Sec...

Eenie…Meenie…

Revisions for Till Mercy is done and my beta has Nathan. Now I get to decide, once I hit send on that, what next to delve into. I have at least three books vying for my attention, but I admit to leaning more toward one more than the other. Mostly because it’s m/f and I feel like I need to purge my brain of all the man-love for a bit.

I still have remnants of Syren and Kane with me, they made their mark and it hasn’t faded yet.

I need to go in a totally new direction. Indulge in some fish for a...

Feenin’ For It

In between working on whatever book sinks its claws in deepest, I read. No. I don’t think you heard right. I read. I gorge. I binge on books. Eight or more a day. I don’t play.

Reading is serious business for me. But I’m preaching to the choir, right?

Sure, I read while writing too, but not as much as I want. Never as much as I want. Some authors can’t read while writing, or some don’t read in the same genre they write in.

Shit. To me that’s crazy.

I don’t own an e-reader. LOL Nope. I do have the...

What’s Up Wednesday

My routine is all messed up. Mr. A is home from work for the foreseeable future and he’s all up in my business. Now, don’t get me wrong. I love the man, but I also love being in the house all by myself when I’m writing. That way no one is around to witness me bawling like an idiot or talking/yelling at the characters like a crazy person.

It’s my thing.

But he’s home. Kid is back to school so it’s just me and him. I’d usually gulp coffee until dinner time or something, but surprise, surprise. Th...

On Hitting Send

I hit send. Yes, Syren and Kane are with my editor. Of course, before I actually hit send, I have the whole song and dance that I go through.

It’s the hardest thing, hitting send. At least for me. No matter how ready you think you are, how polished the manuscript is, how many times you’ve gone over it, you always worry. And no matter how many times I’ve done it, it never gets easier.

It’s a two-parter.

Before that email is sent, I’ve got a hand over my eyes, my teeth sinking into my bottom lip a...
