Reminisce…

It’s a quiet Sunday evening in Georgia. Father’s Day is winding down, the house is still, and for the moment, I have a little bit of time to relax. To rest my feet (I swear, they’ve been aching nonstop). The past few days have been really all about acclimating myself and my family to our new home. Which I love.

We started this entire journey on a whim. And to fully appreciate it, let’s take this story way back. To when Mr. A and I first met. Kinda fitting as this is Father’s Day. It’s going on...

Part Three: NOT MY SINNER

Managed to write out this little bitty for you while packing for our move. I didn’t have the privacy necessary to delve into some deeper emotion, so be thankful for that. You get some sweet shit this time. But be warned. I reserve all rights to break your hearts soon enough. We leave tomorrow. Or rather 4 am tomorrow morning. We’ll be driving. When next we speak, I’ll be a Georgia resident. Read on.

Chapter Three

A door slammed. Footsteps shuffled across the bedroom floor and the smell of coffe...

Part Two: NOT MY SINNER

Part 2. We’re working from the past to the present, to see what led up to Chapter One.

Chapter Two

The calm…

“You plan to ignore me until I’m gone?”

Tommy kept his focus on his plate, ignoring Mateo’s question. The key to ignoring someone effectively was to act as if they didn’t exist. And right now, the man opposite him at the breakfast table didn’t exist. He forked scrambled eggs into his mouth while composing a text for the real estate guy.

“Aw, T. C’mon. I won’t be gone that long.” Mateo never...

#AuthorSpotlight on Kacey Mark

With us today is Romance Author, Kacey Mark.

Tell us about your “big break” in the publishing world. Was there any one person believe in your work first (besides yourself of course)? What did you do to celebrate your first contract?

My first big break came from Evernight. I had a few other offers, but I couldn’t pass up the amazing cover art, and the author support is top notch!

To celebrate, I purchased bumper stickers and sent them off to family across the country, who took great pleasure in...

Part One: NOT MY SINNER

So…This is “Not My Sinner” (T&T’s free read)

BLURB

Tommy Jankowski has a ring on his finger and a killer in his bed. Only he gets to see the softer side of Mateo Oliveros. Despite who Mateo used to be—and still is—Tommy has never regretted his choice. No one else knows him and loves him like his husband does. And Tommy is happy…Even if there are things Mateo needs that Tommy won’t ever be able to provide.

Nothing is easy, definitely not marriage to a man who’s been as broken as Tommy, but Mateo...

Some T & T Action + More

Disclaimer: For my readers who are Not in the FB group.

Typed “The End” on the first book I’ll be self publishing today. It’s a novella, nice and sweet…alright, not sweet, but you get my gist. It’s a way to get my feet wet, to test out the waters so to speak. No details on it yet, other than the title is So Far Gone, and the first draft is done. It’s a mess, that first draft, as is all my first drafts, but all that is cosmetic surgery, superficial stuff. What comes next I’m still not sure of,...

Release Day Tomorrow

I’ve been busy trying to get a side project done before the week is out so I neglected my poor blog readers again. I swear, you get the redheaded stepchild treatment while those inmates over on FB get the star treatment. My fault.

until the sunsetRelease day for Until the Sunset is tomorrow. Late notice, right? I got the news on Monday and the cover yesterday so we’re kinda in the same boat. I’ve got the page setup with the blurb and Chapter One, so check that out. It is MMM, the last book in the Fantasies: T...

One Year Older

In keeping with my weirdness, and all the crazy things that go along with being who I be, I had a birthday today. Which turned out to be all that I wanted it to be. Quiet. Not cumbersome. Uneventful. I like those words. I am those words. So yeah, had a birthday.

Turned thirty-one. Funny, inside I still feel seventeen. Mostly I think because I never allow numbers to dictate how I feel. Or should feel.

I don’t do much introspection, there’s nothing to inspect. Inwardly. I have been blessed with k...
