Camelot: Day 10 - Gawain (Clive Standen)

Ahh, my favorite of the "warriors" of Camelot.

This was another perfectly cast role. While his part isn't overly huge...it serves it's purpose and keeps things interesting. You don't get to know him really well.

See what could have happened has he been named King's Champion after Leontes -- we'd have never needed a Lancelot. ☺

Camelot: Day 9 - Leontes (Philip Winchester)

I hope everyone is sticking with my series of Camelot posts. They will be wrapping up with Day 12.

Even now that I've watched the 10 episodes several times, I'm really not sure of exactly what I think or Leontes. Is it that the character doesn't grip me? Likely.

But who's fault is it?

As the King's Champion...I should feel something for him. He should have a huge "play" in the show itself and viewers should feel some sort of pull toward him.

I'm not entirely sure if the issue lies with the castin...

Six Sentence Sunday #12

Ahh, good old week 12. This was where SSS and I parted in 2011. Let's see if 2012 can stay on track.

This week I'm revisiting book 1 (WIP) of Deep in the Trenches Series -- Military Measures

At what age do we realize that there is no Prince Charming? That our knight in shining armour isn't going to save us, pull us onto his horse and ride off into the sunset? Life isn't like television, books or movies. For me, I always knew fairy tales were just that - stories told to children. However, the no...

Camelot: Day 8

I figured I'd interrupt with a shorter post today (or, at least I'm planning it that way). Since my Camelot series of posts is close to an end. I figured that I'd finally share a bit of the information for the real reason behind these posts.

So, not that I'm certain where it will fit or fall...there will be a book based on my favorite character from Camelot.

The title is kind of up in the air...I like "Merlin" -- however, it's also being played with as " Merlin of Camelot" since not e...

Camelot: Day 7 - Guinevere (Tamsin Egerton)

Ahh, yet another character I think was seriously mis-cast. (Don't get me wrong...Morgan was cast well -- I just feel her character was written poorly).

I always picture Guinevere as some unmistakable beauty that would have men falling at her feet, so it would be no wonder the King himself would risk anything for her. Egerton, to me anyway, while pretty, just doesn't fit Guinevere rankings.

She comes across as to "soft" to be "bold" in those areas she's required to.

For me, it also seems that pai...

Angels Vs Demons Blog Hop

While I don't write anything in the line of angels and demons, I do occasionally enjoy reading about them.
Now, as a few of you know...I set my blog on auto-pilot (lol)...posting out about a month in advance. So, with my move and the starting of a new school year in a new school district...it's going to be a busy July.
So, I can't promise when the winner will be announced...but I promise it will be as soon as I can get back online :D
Now, for the prize...An ebook from my backlist of yo...
