Christmas Shopping & Cordial Cherries

I've been bah-humbug for years now. It's sad. Christmas used to be my favorite time of the year. This year I set my mind to having a great Christmas with the kids. ..and boy are they getting spoiled.


So yesterday I did some more Christmas shopping and happily shoved my face with cordial cherries and Starbucks mocha Frap as I did. What? Come on -- don't judge.
This year I decided on individual gifts for all four of them plus stockings as well as several *for the girls* and *for the boys* gifts...

I spoke of 2011 HERE and what had happened and how at this time of year we're all thinking of the past and the future. The future always seems so *up front* and in our minds as one year closes and another opens.
For 2012 I'd like to see:
I'd love to see my children remain happy and healthy. I'd like for them to see the world as it is and see the ways they can help to improve it..one person at a time.

It's that time of year when we all spend and spend -- where we wonder if we've lost enough weight to see that annoying family member during the holidays -- where we start looking back on the good and bad of the current year and look ahead to the following year and what we want to change. We also decide if we should make those scary (and often never maintained) New Year's Resolutions.
I've found that 2011 has brought me closer to goals. I've had two books published with 18 slated for 2012...

New BDSM WIP: Whip Marks

I blame fellow NBP author Erica Pike for this. We were chatting/joking on her facebook page -- I claimed there was a book in her "whip marks" comment. Her reply was that she's not quite there for writing BDSM.
As I thought on my missing muse -- maybe he's left because I'm not writing all the BDSM and LGBT that I used to. Perhaps he truly does like to play rough all the time.
