Honestly I will always be grateful to Brooklyn 99 for giving us “cool motive, still murder” as a quick, no-frills response to all these weak white boy villains with woe-is-me backstories that fandoms inevitably try to woobify.

I’m SO sorry your mail was returned! I’m currently in a bit of a… disagreement? (To be polite?) with my local post office, one of the joys of living in a small-ish town. I’m hoping to get my P.O. box back up and running soon (I’ll be sure to announce it via social media) and respond to the mail I do have waiting for responses, and update the site to reflect it, and… okay, too much adulting, I have to go hide under the covers now. o_o
Could you please make some Skylark iPhone covers? I only ever get covers for my phone based off my favourite books, tv shows/movies, or characters and Skylark is my most favourite thing to have ever been put on this earth and i just wanted to say I love lo

Second of all, I WISH I could make phone covers for my books! Unfortunately there just aren’t enough hours in the day. My first priority in this job is to keep making more books, and that’s a full-time job all on its own for me–when you add in keeping up on social media (which, clearly, I suck at) and the promotional/publicity demands of the industry, plus actual “real life” stuff like, oh, feed myself and buy cat food, I end up like Allie on Hyperbol...

So the first two chapters are up on Epic Reads, and there are a number of quotes up on Goodreads. And the book’s out in five daaaaays (AHHH). I would love to go through and share more but there’s approximately ten thousand things I’m supposed to be doing (including writing my next book >__>) and I’m already procrastinating by hanging out on social media.
