The Palestine Laboratory short-listed for Queensland Literary Awards

Exciting news that my book, The Palestine Laboratory, has been short-listed for The University of Queensland Non-Fiction Book Award at the Queensland Literary Awards, one of the most prestigious book prizes in Australia.

Here are the judges’ comments:

This thoroughly researched account is a timely examination of the many crossroads that link occupation with the ongoing commercialisation of the military technologies of surveillance and control that are exported for profit across the world.

The Palestine Laboratory has become global best-seller

More than 14 months after the release of my book, The Palestine Laboratory, it continues to stimulate debate and sales, despite the dark times in which we live (leaving me with mixed feelings about it all, to be honest).

I’m thankful for all the support and readers across the globe where the book has become a bestseller in Australia, the US, UK, Italy, Spain and beyond where I constantly see references to the work and themes.

The photo above is just one of many best-seller lists that the book still appears on.

My priority in work has never been purely about sales but informing people about the ways in which power operates in our societies (from Palestine to disaster capitalism).
