I know I’m not around much anymore, but I just wanted to say… It’s late. I’m in a hotel in...
I know I’m not around much anymore, but I just wanted to say… It’s late. I’m in a hotel in Colorado where I just finished up a speaking gig at a conference (Sirens, a truly wonderful celebration of women in SF&F but I had to give an hour-long keynote and I was terrified). I’ve spent the last two days on oxygen and iv fluids because apparently I’m a delicate flower and can’t handle the altitude, and I’m a little worn out and weepy because it’s just been a very intense week/month/year. So I dropped into the SoC tag before bed and had a little look around and it’s just so full of people being funny and lovely and talented and thoughtful, and I actually do belly laugh reading all of the memes and shitposts (even though I probably get about half of them). Anyway, very grateful and wanted to let you know.
