Hey everyone! This is my 14 year old daughter’s submission to the FanArt Contest for New Leaf Literary Media! It’s for the panel that includes Marie Lu (Legend), Leigh Bardugo (Shadow&Bone), Michael DiMartino (Korra) and Seth Hoffman (Walking Dead). GUYS. I was already planning on going...
GUYS. I was already planning on going to the awesomest collection of awesome ever, an event of epic proportions next week at the Grove here in Los Angeles. It’s a legendary meeting of the minds— Leigh Bardugo, author of Shadow and Bone; Marie Lu, author of Legend; Mike DiMartino, co-creator of Avatar: The Last Airbender; and Seth Hoffman, writer/story editor for The Walking Dead, are getting together and talking about really cool things for an hour or two. Basically, it’s all my favorite fandoms colliding.
Which is the wonderful theme of this excellent tumblr fanart contest: FANDOMS COLLIDE! So I did the internet a disservice and zombiefied all my favorite fictional boyfriends, leaving their sensible female counterparts to deal with the mess (as per usual).
PLEASE reblog, because whichever entry gets the most notes WINS THE GOLDEN TICKET (or something). Also, Tumblr did something wonky to the pictures, so try looking at the full size pics if you can.

we have lots of shows to play and we hope they all sell out. (shows that sell out are good for many reasons, one of which being next time i hit the road i’m more likely to go back to where the people is…and we know where the people is based on where the people buy the tickets)…i wish i could be in all cities at all times to drum up the word that WE ARE COMING WE ARE COMING! but i’m not, and that’s why i have you. you are there. i am not there.
so: we need your help spreading the word. i trust YOU - YES, FUCKING YOU - better than any giant label to help…help hanging posters and getting the word out.
i self-sharpied and made some great images (posters as well as square-avatar-sizes) for each and every one of the cities on our upcoming tour. this post is just the second week or so of ‘em (week 1 here/you can find ALL of them HERE)…
