Life Lessons with Mr. T. This is like going to college, except it takes three minutes and makes you smarter.

Vote for my artwork on Tallenge!
Hey everyone, a follower of mine suggested that I submit my artwork to an online competition at Tallenge.com. I’m not a huge fan of competitions because I often feel like I’m not good enough or have very little chance of winning, but I thought I would give it a go. It would mean a lot if you could spare a vote for my artwork, The Colours Fade. I appreciate your time.

Needle was Winterfell’s grey walls and the laughter of its people. Needle was the summer snows, Old Nan’s stories, the heart tree with its red leaves and scary face, the warm earthy smell of the glass gardens, the sound of the north wind rattling the shutters of her room. Needle was Jon Snow’s smile. (inspiration)

Okay goths of the internet why is no one talking about Matthew Bourne’s Sleeping Beauty? It’s a Victorian/Goth interpretation of Tchaikovsky’s ballet, with a vampire-fairy plot twist that worked very, very well. I’ve never been so emotionally engaged by a ballet. If its run didn’t end in a week I’d call it a must-see.
That looks STUNNING. And mmmm, red brocade.
I think Claire Legrand would love this.

"Before he’d ever dreamed of a Second Army, before he gave up his name and became the Darkling, he was just a brilliant, talented boy."

No matter what you pursue, there will be days when you feel brilliant, but there will be others when you feel bored, or incompetent. Those tough days and the way you work through them make all the difference — between the aspiring writer and the published author, the amateur and the professional, the dream and the reality. Don’t let those bad days get the best of you. Never give up. ~ Leigh Bardugo
I said this! Apparently, these people on the pier needed to hear it.
