So you went to Yale. And my parents and extended family, all my life, have been pressuring me into the Ivy League mold, something I just can't fit into. Because of that, I've developed horrible anxiety, and my junior and senior grades have suffered for t
Oh, my poor kiddo. I hate this. You’re not lazy. Look, I don’t know the specifics of your situation but let me make something really clear: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GO TO AN IVY LEAGUE SCHOOL TO BE SUCCESSFUL. More importantly, going to an Ivy is absolutely no guarantee of success. Trust me. I know this. The most important thing is to find a school where you can thrive, a school that’s right for you. And Ivies fall short in a lot of their programs. Do you need their financial support for college? Will they help you out if you don’t get into an Ivy or similar? If so, then I think it’s time to let go of their expectations and remember that your life belongs to you and your job is to nurture your own abilities. If not, then message me again and we’ll strategize. But I promise, you’re going to be okay. I have friends who went to small schools, state schools, some who didn’t attend college at all and they’re all doing just fine.

Probably not. She was a lot of fun to write, but she’s essentially a walking, talking trope so I’d have to seriously unpack her if I approached the character again. But never say never.

Huge Zuko fan. Huge Sokka fan. Huge Katara fan. Honestly, I love all of them so much. I actually watched LoK (Korrasami for life) first then went back and watched AtLA then watched LoK AGAIN because I didn’t fully appreciate seeing the old gang on the first watch.
