Doing it myself
Recently (after going over my expenses for last year) I decided to wake up my creative side which had been in a lengthy slumber. I am so happy that I did. I forgot how much i LOVE to work with my hands and create new things outside of the written word! SO I started out small, making book thongs and key chains for book swag and now I am doing my own necklaces and even created my last book cover all on my own! Yes, I am happy about this because not only do I save a bit of cash, well I get to share more of myself with the world through visual expressions of my own creativity... yay for the DIYs!
