Dark Tree : From Depressions Of The Soul

A single tree so dark, so deep,
with such desire to be-
This tree with roots
that stab the soil with greed-
Alone this tree, it's branches gnarled,
reaching in desperate need-
Ignored by it's surroundings,
left with a sadness to feed-
Again this tree with only
a dark and cold air around-
It's sky a companion of darkness
that offers no solace nor sound-
It's bed of earth enveloped
with a veil of blackened ground-
This tree reaching ever so high
into the night without appease-
With only the moon's glow
to taunt and fervently tease-
A barren land that waits
for some precious release-
Left with no more than a painful
death as it's only relief.

Transformation

Following that endless path
to dark's destiny and pain-
Flowing in agony, twisting in sorrow
all the same-
Endless voids swallowing all knowledge
of sight and sound-
Crushing with a fear that can neither
die nor drown.

Prophet's Truth

The end comes with silent step,
yet heard from infinity's end;
Shouting commands from the void,
releasing endless sorrow forever;
the final days live on unaware,
as destiny's plan continues to exceed;
swallowing souls of black and ash,
devouring a life of lifeless needs;
the sorrow, the pain, the injustice of being,
costly existence begins to receive;
preordained reality rolling endlessly,
haze and confusion sweep the cosmos;
rearranging existence and banishing the old,
under rule, under law, under god;
the seals of command and given control,
forever declared as the prophet's dream.
