Tonight my mom’s friends and colleagues gathered at Carl Sandburg College to celebrate her life. Our friend Lonnie Stewart, sculptor extraordinaire, dedicated a bust of Sandburg in Mom’s honor, and the college surprised him by renaming the art gallery in his honor.
